I tell myself that buying perennials is an investment in my home. This statement has partially been created because I love buying flowers, but it's also very true. I have neighbors who have been in their homes for decades and their gardens look beautiful because they've been curating them for years and years. I can't tell you how happy it's made me to see some of my perennials that I planted years ago coming in so strong this year.
Having a well landscaped and cleaned up yard improves your curb appeal. Good curb appeal = increased sales price. I'm a big fan of black mulch. It looks really nice edged up against green grass and makes your flowers pop.

I’m not usually one to post on holidays but sorry not sorry, the world would be a dumpster fire without us. The older I get the more I realize that women and mother’s are the back bone of every society. Women have been putting out fires and keeping order since the beginning of time and although I would never vote for someone solely because they’re a woman, it’s about damn time we get a woman in charge of this sinking ship that is our country.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have a lot of repeat clients in my 5 years as a realtor. I love working with familiar faces and having a reason to talk on a daily basis again. Every one of my clients who I’ve helped buy, and then sell their homes over the past 5 years have made massive profits on their homes. They’ve continued to be ecstatic about their decisions to both buy and sell those homes, no matter what the motivator was to move.
Although I’m fully aware that we’re not in a typical housing market and real estate will not continue to appreciate at the rate it has been, I still feel very confident that real estate is one of the best investments you can make.

The housing inventory in our area is painfully low. I’ve listened to a lot of predictions as to how the real estate market is going to evolve in 2024 and only time will tell.

About me
I have been in the real estate world for a while now. I started with leasing at a brand new community in CT where I was the only full time leasing consultant. I loved knowing all of the residences and formed some long lasting relationships there but being in one place all day every day was not for me.
Living my whole life in CT, I decided that it was time to broaden my horizons so I left my leasing position to move to Austin, TX. In Austin I got a job as a contract to close coordinator for one of the highest producing loan officers in the city. The mortgage world is a complicated one but I am SO lucky to have had the experience I had. I was able to learn so much in a shorter period of time due to the amount of volume my team was doing. As a contract to close coordinator I managed every loan our team had from the time they were under contract to the time they closed on their home. I loved this job because I was able to help a lot of our clients through what can be a stressful process. I loved learning the mortgage world and I feel like now I know the process like the back of my hand but I was still sitting at a desk and not working with people face to face. It was then that I decided it was time to venture out of the office and become a real estate agent.
Because I grew up in West Hartford, CT and my sphere of people were in CT I decided that’s really where I should be jumpstarting my independent career. After a few years in TX I moved back to CT to get my license and I have been working on pursuing my dream of helping people love their homes ever since!
