And the newest addition to the flock is Circe. She identifies as a lap chicken.

She’d rather be in my lap, sitting on my shoulder or head, or following me around the yard as opposed to hunting and pecking.

Meet our new BANTAM collection-
NAMES ARE: Wesson, R***r, Lucille, & Ethel

Asia our painted Silkie - is now the proud mother of a clutch hatchling she’s worked hard to keep warm. Her baby chick’s name is Opal.

She also adopted a sibling from Tractor Supply Co. so that Opal wouldn’t be lonely, her name is Ivory.

These hardy birds are docile, friendly, and can tolerate cold temperatures. The Barred Rocks can lay up to 250 large brown eggs a year.

Meet BRAVO!! - our New Buff Brahma pullet

The Buff Brahma is a large chicken. Not only is this breed heavy but they are also tall. They average about 12lbs and lay brown eggs.

Jurassic Bawk - Azle Chickens & Eggs presents Cherry. Cherry is two years old, and an original OG member of the flock. As a Barred Rock hen, she is one of America's oldest breed of chickens since the late 1800's. Cherry likes hunt and peck, scratch for burried treasures as a true chicken tunnel excavationist. She is surrvived by her twin sister Bubbles, who past away unexpectantly over a year ago by the area's local flying predator, Baze the Hawk.

Baze the Hawk likes to taunt our tiny raptors. We caught him perched upon our fence contemplating his next move. Good thing our chickens manouvour around our yard in chicken tunnels that keep them safe from these predator types.

Threw some wood scraps together and made the flock a picnic table.

Shout out to Charlotte and Charlottey for handling up on the fly situation around the coop. The fly 🪰 infestation is no longer an infestation.
