WE’RE BACK!!!!!!
Can’t wait to see everyone soon!
Yay!!!! We will be opening the hair salon on Tuesday, May 12th. We can’t wait to see everyone again! We have missed all of our clients immensely.
In an effort to keep everyone safe we will be open by appointment only. We will only be able to have one client in our chair at a time. This means no one will be able to accompany the client to the salon and wait or walk-ins waiting for the next available stylist. Please get in touch with Vicki Lanier-Townley, Lisa Martin Allen or Mandi Carter to book an appointment.
We are not sure yet if we will have other restrictions. We are waiting to see what our licensing board puts in place for the reopening.
Thank you so very much for riding this out with us. We can’t express how much we appreciate each and every one of you!
Unfortunately with Governor Abbott’s press release today our salon will remain closed until mid-May. We don’t have an exact date we can open back up yet. Rest assured we will be back as soon as we get the go ahead!
Just a note from our licensing board to let us know we cannot provide services at someone’s home....
This was not directed at our salon in particular. It’s was a general message posted on their page.
On March 31, Gov. Greg Abbott signed Executive Order GA-14, ordering that people and businesses should follow CDC and Presidential guidelines by practicing good hygiene, environmental cleanliness, and sanitation, implementing social distancing, and working from home if possible.
Effective April 2, 2020, only essential services are allowed. Only people providing essential services are permitted to be out in public providing services. This new order prohibits services from being provided by persons licensed under Chapter 401, Sections 501-522, Health and Safety Code (Laser Hair Removal) and Chapters 455 (Massage Therapists), 1601 (Barbers), 1602 (Cosmetologists), and 1603 (Barbering and Cosmetology), Occupations Code.
Additional facilities are closed. Governor Abbott had previously closed massage establishments on March 20. Under the new order, barber and cosmetology shops regulated under Chs. 1601, 1602, and 1603, Occupations Code, and laser hair removal facilities regulated under Chapter 401, Sections 501-522, Health and Safety Code must close by 12:01 a.m. April 2, 2020. The order is in effect until April 30, 2020 and supersedes any city or county orders.
Essential Services Designations
Not sure what is deemed an essential service? Here's a list: http://tdem.texas.gov/essentialservices/.
Governor Greg Abbott has released an executive order today. Persuant to this order Cuttin’ Loose will be closed until April 30th 😢
Please know we are very sad about this situation. We will most assuredly be back as soon as we possibly can!
Update...
Tarrant County officials have ordered a stay at home order. This order goes into effect at midnight tonight and stays in effect until April 7th. This means our salon will remain closed until at least April 7th.
Please continue to pray.
😥
Ok...to all of our clients....
Sadly, as of 6pm tonight Tarrant County has issued a mandate to shut down all hair salons. We will be closed definitely for the next seven days. The county could extend this longer. We will continue to watch for updates from the local officials and post again if anything changes.
We would also like to ask everyone to please continually pray for our country, any individuals who have contracted this virus, people who have lost their jobs, healthcare providers, truck drivers and our government leaders. We at Cuttin’ Loose believe in the power of prayer and we know our country could use them now. We have a powerful God and His word says to come to him in our hour if need.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
We will be back in the shop as soon as we possibly can.
We just wanted to make a quick post to let all of our clients know we are still up and running right now. We have checked with local officials and there has been no shut down of hair salons at this time. They have asked us to keep our limit to 10 people inside the salon and to limit the clients to just the people we are working on at the time. This means no children should come in and wait while their parents are getting their hair done. We can cut children’s hair, they just shouldn’t be there waiting for a long time. Also if you are getting a ride from someone they should not be waiting in the shop for a long time.
We will continue to keep checking with the local officials to make sure we are staying in compliance during this time. If anything changes we will post again to inform everyone.
Our state laws already require us to sanitize frequently. We will continue to do this and sanitize surfaces frequently.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Thank you and stay safe!
Vicki, Lisa and Mandi
Couldn’t help myself 🤣🤣🤣
Just sayin’
🤣🤣
Cuttin’ Loose would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving!!!!
This is proof of a busy day at the salon...
😊
We had a great time at the trunk or treat at The Shop At Commerce. If you didn’t get to join us this year make sure to come next year!
Sitting in a local nail salon and watching a client get their eyebrows waxed. Full on watched the tech double dip that wax stick and put it right back on the clients face. Listen people you do not want to have someone stick a stick on your face and put it back in that wax. If they do it to you then they do it to everyone and that means whatever germs were on the other client are now on your face!!!!🤢🤢🤢
We can take care of your waxing needs at Cuttin’ Loose....and we DON’T double dip!
Transformation Tuesday y’all!!!! 😍
