CSUB Study Abroad

Obirin University Global Communication Program students from Tokyo are studying English at American Language Institute. In addition to studies in classrooms, they are venturing out to various places such as Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

CSUB also have the exchange agreement with Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM). CSUB Study Abroad Director, Yuri Sakamaki, visited UCLM Toledo. Toledo is 30 minutes south of Madrid. Students can learn various topics at the two campuses located in this beautiful historic town of Toledo.

Study abroad and Fulbright Programs Director, Yuri Sakamaki, visited the Downtown Madrid Campus of Universidad Pontificia Comillas where engineering majors and other majors study. Joseph Munz, International Protocol, and Alberto Zanmatti, ICAI Engineering International Relations Coordinator gave her a campus tour and shared the excellent programs at Comillas ICAI.

CSUB Study Abroad and Fulbright Programs Director, Yuri Sakamaki, is on the road again! Visiting Universidad Pontificia Comillas, Cantoblanco Campus. It’s a beautiful, spacious campus for Humanities and Social Sciences. CIHS International Relations Coordinador, Ms. Patricia Vásquez welcomed her and give her a wonderful campus tour.

The FLP Global Nursing in Cusco Peru continues! When they organized a medical campaign in the community, the students were presented with a certificate of appreciation by the town. They made differences in a small community 4,500 miles away from CSUB.

The FLP (faculty-led program) for Global Nursing is in Cusco, Peru. They enjoyed the welcome dinner. For the next 10 days, CSUB nursing students will make differences in the communities in and around Cusco at public clinics and health fair campaigns. 👩‍⚕️ 👨‍⚕️ 🏥

The FLP Global Nursing students arrived at Cisco, Peru after a whole day of traveling there via Guadalajara, Mexico City and Lima. They have started their amazing program!!

This morning at 3:45am, 21 nursing students left for Cusco, Peru on the faculty-led program Global Nursing. This FLP is led by Professor Krystal Ball. They are carrying out Heath campaigns and clinical visits in and around Cusco for 10 days. Go 🏃🏻‍♀️ Runners!
