An ADU is an “accessory dwelling unit” and is a popular living space you can design on your existing property. An ADU can be an excellent source of rental income or, like in this particular project, can be used for family. With the popularity of remote work, you could even build a unique work from home space!

Once you’ve decided to move forward and our team fully understands the project, we have our clients sign a Design Development Agreement, which ensures the design is yours. We then create a preliminary space plan and a 3D model.

During this phase, our clients will have a measuring meeting with the project engineer and construction manager.
The design presentation provides a complete project view. The budget will be reviewed once again with an estimator to cover all financial needs with a full cost analysis of the proposed plan. After we help you visualize your new space, a construction agreement will be signed and we began to bring your new design to life!

✨ Simple Elegance ✨

Clean and minimal doesn’t mean boring 😍 these crisp designs - especially in a bathroom - allow you to relax and recharge while still leaving space for you to add your own personal touches.

Most interior designers will say, as a general rule of design, that you should never paint your entire home one singular color.

Ok, but what about going monochromatic in one room? Is it possible to do TOO much of one particular color? 🤔

At the end of the day, design is really subjective. It’s an artistic expression of one’s unique personality and tastes. There are, however, some general rules to help guide the process.

For example, the 60-30-10 “rule” helps ensure balance and is an easy one to follow. This can help you separate your design palette. For example, 60 percent would serve as the main color, (think couch, tables, or anything central to the space), 30 percent is the secondary color used likely for accents in the room. Lastly, the 10 percent is used for final touches that maybe show off differing textures.

There’s so much freedom in design, but sometimes it’s nice to have a roadmap!

A: Here are some trends we expect to see in 2024:
Varying textures in the same room, like plush velvets in the furniture or pillows with the contrast of rough stone in the flooring or smooth metals in the hardware.

Incorporating more elements of sustainability through sustainably made materials and furniture.

Colors of warm whites, olive and dark greens, browns, and moody tones which help create a warm, soothing environment.
