When you support Party in the Park, you support students. You’ll help students like Jeff Luff, who is pursuing his dream of becoming a licensed mental health therapist. Julissa Guadalupe Servin will use your support to become a high school math teacher and volleyball coach. You could assist Yadira Ayala as she seeks to make a positive impact as a teacher. And Fernando Hernandez Cortez has a shot at becominga school counselor to give back to his community and support the next generation of students - with your backing.      These are the CSUB Alumni Association’s four scholarship recipients for 2024-2025. The money raised at Party in the Park helps fund these alumni scholarships and our alumni-student `Runner Alumni Mentor Program (RAMP). We distributed more than $8,000 to the four alumni working on their advanced degrees this year and matched 58 mentees with 54 mentors in the RAMP program last year.  We hope you will help us grow these vital programs by buying Party in the Park tickets. Karen Vasquez and Fred Plane are just one of many mentorship success stories through our `Runner Alumni Mentor Program (RAMP). We are accepting applications from California State University, Bakersfield junior, senior, and graduate students who are interested in participating in RAMP. Mentors have steered mentees toward internship opportunities as well as invited them to networking events, allowed them to job shadow, gone over their resume, practiced interview techniques and introduced them to colleagues in a position to provide further guidance.
