A special thanks to Flower Window Boxes located right here in Ball Ground! Earlier this year, they generously donated eight large planter boxes to the shop - allowing us the ability to give the courtyard a brand new face lift!

Another shout out to Lisa Bartlett - her creative green thumb helped us fill these planters with beautiful arrangements of flowers to enjoy year round.

Now everyone can enjoy plenty of new shaded seating and a beautiful green while enjoying a cup of coffee of course! ❤️

The oldest sausage tavern in the world opened in Regensburg in the 12th century,

A city that's history dates back over 2000 years, and where, for centuries, wealthy traders used its port to ship and receive goods from all over the world.

Dockers, and stonemasons from the Regensburg Cathedral building site and the Stone Bridge, considered the eighth wonder of the world when it was completed in 1146, needed food.

So slow-simmered meals were offered from a kitchen attached to the city wall.

And it became the Wurstküche - sausage kitchen, and more than 500 years have passed since "die Wurstskuchl", in the local Bavarian dialect, moved to a small building directly on the Danube, next to the Stone Bridge.

"Die älteste Bratwurststube der Welt". where, as for generations, Regensburg pure pork sausages are cooked over a charcoal grill, served with sauerkraut fermented in the tavern cellar, sweet mustard made to a centuries old recipe, and a "Schwarzer Kipferl". A roll made from wheat and rye flour, with caraway seeds.
