With labels hand drawn by one of the owners each of these buds is a mini work of art! Cottagecore is a fresh and bright blend of florals balanced with greens to smell like a crisp field of flowers. To use, simply warm slightly between your hands and rub them directly on the skin. The bars melt on contact with your body and spread super easily! TBT to the OG, the DAY THAT STARTED IT ALL - some random flea market in Lutherville 10 years ago. On a whim we decided to try and sell the soap that we had been making as a hobby and we paid $10 to set up at this flea market at a church (and it really was a flea market). Pat made the displays out of wood from some old pallets and we printed the labels on cardstock and wrapped them around the soap bars. The chalkboard sign is blank because we had still not decided how much to charge when this picture was taken lol. I remember we were psyched as hell to make a whopping SEVENTY FIVE dollars and so grateful that people were willing to pay money for something we made (still a feeling we get). Most of all, it was fun, so we decided to look for other market opportunities and reinvest everything we made back into the business to see how far we could take it.

Well, here we are. Five years after that market we opened our first retail location. Two years after that we opened our production facility in Woodberry, and then our Lexington Market location. Our rise was by no means meteoric and it took a lot of work, sacrifice, time, and a LOT of help and support from our community. We are often asked when we knew that we had “made it”, or that this was something we could do full time instead of just on the side. I always disappoint everyone when I tell them that that point never came - we never knew and to be honest we still don’t. But 5 years ago it became clear to us that we were never going to make it by hedging our bets, and if we ever wanted our tiny Soap Stand to grow up we would have to take the risk of growing it. We’ve definitely had hard times and the challenges haven’t stopped coming, but this little soap company has always made us so happy and proud that we wouldn’t trade it for anything. There is something so wholly satisfying about making things - whether it’s bars of soap or a whole-ass business - that there’s no way we could ever go back. SOAP LIFE 4EVA 🧼🫧

You’ve been asking and now it’s here! 📣🎉🎊 We’re accepting returns of CLEAN candle jars to reuse in future candle production!
