This year, the Mount Vernon Place Conservancy is once again one of the cohosts of the Mount Vernon Place Plein Air Art Show. All summer long almost 30 artists have been out painting in the squares, including at this year's Flower Mart at Mount Vernon Place! These canvases will be among the nearly 100 paintings on display and sale at the Garrett Jacobs Mansion on Sept. 22. Which one would you buy?

100 years ago, in 1924, Flower Mart was already 13 years old! Baltimore's oldest free public festival has changed over the years--but under the Mount Vernon Place Conservancy's leadership we continue the tradition of FLOWERS. There will be real flowers and flowers found on crafts. All local vendors, including great food vendors. There will also be other non-profits involved in greening the city. The Conservancy will be selling beer, wine, and mead, and Lemon Sticks, and all proceeds go to keeping the festival and the music free to the public.
