Our Story | The People’s Theatre
Interested in learning more about the historic Lyric –Maryland’s premiere historical, architectural, and cultural performing arts venue. Join us for a complimentary guided tour of The Lyric. This is your opportunity to get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour from the stage-house to the box office, from the rehearsal hall to the dressing rooms. Did you know a ballroom dance floor used for events such as the Bachelor’s Cotillion remains beneath the orchestra seating; or where was that scene from House of Cards filmed (that’s right, The Lyric was a part of the hit TV show) – well to answer those questions and to discover more, join us on a tour.
Tour capacity is 50 participants (determined on a first come, first served basis). Schools are welcome.
