All shops (except the factory) are OPEN today. And that includes our newest at at historic Walter Reed (and that makes us suuuuuper happy!!)

It’s happening and we couldn’t be more thrilled- our first shop officially in Washington DC!! Located in the in the Historic Walter Reed District this shop is our first chance to spread happiness through ice cream in our nation’s capital.

Just in time for the official start of summer join us this FRIDAY at 5pm at 7175 12th St NW, Suite 305. Washington, DC 20012. Our hours going forward will be:
Sunday - Thursday: 12pm to 10pm
Friday & Saturday: 12pm to 11pm

To celebrate Easter we are honored that Joe, our Head Ice Cream Maker, turned his family’s thousands of year old Easter dessert into ice cream!

Pastiera Napoletana is a traditional dessert from Southern Italy. It is a ricotta pie with grano cotto (cooked wheat) and candied citron bits. Joe’s family is from Campania and his recipe includes Millefiori (the flavor of wildflowers), Fior D’arancio (orange blossom), along with hints of sambuca and rum.

We are honored to share Joe’s family celebration in ice cream form for this week’s ! Also you should definitely check out Joe’s awesome band
