Yes! It’s a Celebration! 25 years ago a young college graduate from New Jersey decided to invest in himself and start a “Black Man’s Country Club” aka Barbershop on Harford Rd & Northern Parkway. This is the Parkville section of Baltimore, not really the area for a black barbershop or lone black business at the time. This young man with a Jersey swag, a bit of street knowledge, a degree in Business, a skill set 2nd to none, and Faith in himself launched NILE STYLE BARBERSHOP.
25 years later he’s taught trained & mentored other Master Barbers, cut (given haircuts to) generations of men, held Real Men Conversations before they became popular podcast and tv shows. He, , was the spark to so many young men making positive decisions in their lives.. Your saying a Barber, I’m saying the neighborhood therapist (as you sat in his chair he spewed wisdom, warnings, and love).

Congratulations to all the graduates of 2023. Let’s continue to encourage and celebrate our young people. Love seeing all the graduate pics this season.
