Dissected Art Mfg.
Manufacturer of suspension related equipment
For years I've been asked by many to share my methods, but it was never the right time in my life. Now that my film is released, and the Covid restrictions are all but gone, it's time to finally launch my newest initiative.
Because I committed to a few people long ago, there are only 4 spaces left in the innaugaral class.

I uploaded this earlier, but for some reason the video didn't play right and I just now found out about it. Let's try this again...
After 2 1/2 years of suffering through this pandemic shutting down the film industry, I'm proud to announce that I have at last signed a distribution deal for my film. It was an unbelievable battle getting the film made, and I finished it just to find out about the incredible challenge of actually getting people to watch it. Thank. you all who have supported me and beleived in this project.
They are still available, but these are some of the last hooks I'll be making. Visit the website for pricing.
I'm ending my tour of duty providing the world with suspension hooks. Let's talk about what's next.
I went with a light blue engraving over a gold base. Doing a light color over gold sometimes hides the color on the engraving, so I typically recommend blue, purple, or bronze with gold, but this specific pattern allowed the color to show through perfectly which highlights the engraving tool paths. Against all odds I managed to match the blue on the pins bolts, and frames. These are different grades of titanium, and I assure you that wasn’t a simple task. They turned out great. Although it is not typical I engraved the pattern on the inside as well. This is a half day of engraving, but I felt the repeating pattern justified the additional work.
These are number 2 of the 9 remaining pairs of full titanium hooks I will be selling. These are complete and already packed up.
This is the end of the threadlock, and although I'm sad, I really hope to blow everyone away with what comes next. I'm not going away. https://dissectedart.com/ #!/2-Of-9-Final-Full-titanium-Threadlocks-ends-1-26-Midnight-EST/p/427418228
Let’s try something new. There are only 9 pairs of full titanium hooks remaining and no more will ever be made. Because there is such high demand for these, I’ve decided to sell them in the form of a silent auction. Visit https://rb.gy/utwize to place a bid on these hooks. A new pair (or 2) will be added after the previous auction has ended. Each with a one of a kind design and color palette.
Full instructions are on the website. Happy bidding, and please remember that I’m not walking away from suspension or making suspension equipment, but these are the last of these hooks.
Also, there are 17 remaining pairs of stainless steel hooks available for order that will be shipping in January.
Thank you for all the love and support over the past 14 years. I hope the work I create going forward is loved just as much.
Final inventory is available on www.DissectedArt.com
In about the junior year of getting my marketing degree I began rejecting the holiday driven sales like Black Friday and Cyber Monday. They are social engineering at its worst.
That being said, if you’re going to spend money, maybe you should know that the final few hooks I’m making will not last much longer. If you or a loved one wants a piece of suspension history and the finest suspension hooks ever crafted, there’s no time like the present.
Looking at these hooks it becomes that much harder to say goodbye to this stage of my creative life. I've made thousands of suspension hooks in my life, but these hooks are some of my favorites. Such a simple pattern, but the colors are just beautiful.
Final inventory is listed for sale on www.DissectedArt.com. Don't wait. I have a feeling that with the holiday season upon us that the inventory won't last.
Can't wait to show you all what i'm doing next.
Some of the final titanium hooks. The elusive chameleon green/magenta is very hard to achieve. Once everything ordered has been shipped I’ll list the remaining hooks on the website, but this order got cancelled so it’s going up now. Get them while you can on www.dissectedart.com
I went very subtle with the size markings on this batch. Just what is required for size (S,M,L,XL) and which frame is which (frame A and frame B) it’s cleaner this way. Also, no standard “thread lock”engraving on the outside. I’ve never achieved a finish this perfect, and I think it looks beautiful all on its own. It makes it really hard to even see the engraving on camera. The best hooks I’ve ever made by far.
