Had a fantastic time at the Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center's 14th Annual Adolescent Resource Fair! Our amazing Baltimore City Team, Dana Eure, Quetsy Bosque-Lugo, and Natasha Peterson, proudly represented and shared awareness about Springboard Baltimore City's Youth Programs and Services. Kudos to the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services for hosting such a great event!

We wrapped up the school year with our final Foster Grandparents Program in-service event this June! 🎉 We celebrated 50 years of serving children in early learning settings and hosted a recruiting event with around 50 volunteers gathered at Union Baptist Head Start to discuss plans for the summer. Some FGPs will continue at their current or new sites, while others will enjoy a well-deserved break. We also took a moment to remember the volunteers we've lost and emphasized the importance of self-care. Plus, we welcomed our new FGP Manager, Ms. Zina L. Harris! 🌟

June 19 signifies the emancipation of Black American slaves and provides an opportunity for descendants of slaves to find affirming solace and all Americans to remember the devastation of human trafficking and labor exploitation.
Springboard Community Services honors the life and legacy of Black Americans everywhere and their tenacity, strength and contributions during one of America's darkest hours.
We continue to work to end human trafficking, violence and labor exploitation of every form and strive to create support systems so that history does not repeat itself by supporting victims of violent crimes, exploitation and trafficking. Happy

Carroll County Springboard is delighted to partner with local non-profit Peace, Love, Dolls. It's founder, Makenna Steele started the mission at the age 10 and was committed to bringing smiles with toys. They collect donations of used toys, restore them, and donate them to children in need locally as well as across the globe . They donate and restore all kinds of toys to keep them out of the landfill and give them a new life to where they will be loved. 💖🪀🧸

For over 170 years, Springboard Community Services has dedicated itself to transforming the lives of Maryland’s most vulnerable.
Built on a bedrock of integrity, compassion, and responsiveness, Springboard Community Services continues to be an innovative, agile, and comprehensive provider of services — many of which are free or low-fee — that span the life cycle, from supporting expectant mothers to caring for the at-risk elderly. Through a broad mix of case management, counseling, and support, we provide not only a safety net but a springboard to those who need it most. Our mission: Break the cycle of poverty, abuse, and despair, one person, one family, one generation at a time.
​A 501(c) non-profit organization, Springboard has 6 locations in Baltimore City and the surrounding five counties, including multiple counseling offices and two medical adult daycares. We are the on-site mental health provider at the Child Advocacy Centers (CAC) in Carroll, Harford, and Howard counties, with a formal partnership with CACs in Baltimore County. We are also the identified domestic violence provider for Carroll County and West Baltimore County.
Springboard Community Services is licensed to practice as an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic with immediate appointment openings in Baltimore City, Carroll, Harford, and Howard counties. As a licensed clinic, we offer the continuum of mental health care provided by a multidisciplinary team including social workers, counselors, nurse practitioners, case managers and a psychiatrist who specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry. We provide a broad array of trauma-informed services for individuals and families along their life course from children through senior citizens.
