From the award-winning winemaker and founder of Mollydooker, Sarah Marquis, we recommend this Merlot! (Also featured in tonight’s Thursday tasting: Women in Wine.)⁣

Sarah and her husband, Sparky, named their brand Mollydooker, the aussie word for left handed, because they both are left handed!⁣
⁣
Instead of using additional sulfites to prevent oxidization of the wine, Mollydooker uses nitrogen! So for their red wines, make sure you do the Mollydooker Shake, shake, shake! ⁣
⁣
Once the nitrogen releases the flavors you can expect great dark fruit from this wine, especially plum, with lovely spices and a soft mouthfeel. Pair this wine with spaghetti and meatballs or your next mushroom ragu!⁣
