His Mama is registered and as you can see is all L👀KS!

So whether you want him ✂️ (we’ll even band him for you!) or want to make him your herd sire, you really can’t go wrong!

He’s been disbudded and is ready to go to your home! We’ll be sad to see him go, but can’t wait to see the smiles he will bring to his next home’s face and hearts. 💕

We had sooo many cucumbers today! So we made pickles!

Tomatoes are Turning 🍅

What are your favorite things to make out of tomatoes?! 💚❤️

Freezing green beans… uh, well in this case PURPLE beans!! 💜

This is how I do it, maybe you have another way!

1 - Pick them! You’ll want to use the freshest of the fresh. No bumps or “soggy” beans here please!
2 - Trim the stems off while you’re boiling water
3 - Salt the water pretty generously (I read somewhere about a tablespoon per gallon of water, and that stuck with me).
4 - Put your beans in! Boil for 1-2 minutes
5 - While they’re boiling, Fill a bowl with ice and top off with water.
6 - I use tongs but some folks use a slatted spoon to get the beans out and immediately into the water. The cold water stops the cooking process.
7 - Let ‘em be cold for 5 minutes or so.
8 - Lay them out to dry
9 - Spread them out on a cookie sheet and freeze.
10 - Pop ‘em into a LABELED freezer bag. Squeeze as much air out as possible!

11 - Thank yourself later when you have fresh beans!! 🫛

It’s so quick and easy you can do a bunch of small batches as your beans are ready!

Dill isn’t the biggest fan of being transplanted. So I did it as carefully as possible… so far so good!

For some reason I though starting beets from seeds was going to be a lot harder…
So far I am happily being proved wrong! So I’m thinning these out today and transplanting the ones I pull out… we’ll see what happens! 💜
