We're excited to welcome a new member to the Pulse family, Sam Bakley! 🎉 Sam holds a degree in Marketing from the University of Maine and has a decade of experience working with small businesses and startups around the country. He joins Pulse as a Business Development Executive, passionate about supporting the goals of Maine businesses.

Originally from the Midcoast region, Sam now calls the Bangor area home. Outside of work, he enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, disc golf, and board games, as well as aimlessly wandering around with his camera. 📸

Meet Senior Account Manager Jasmine! 🤝 Jasmine is a data-driven marketer with a flair for building strategic partnerships, optimizing brand vision, and positioning businesses for success. DEI and ethics are Jasmine’s foundational focus, and in 2015 this enabled her to co-found the first B Corp Certified marketing agency in San Francisco. She started her career in Canada, continued in California, and recently made the big move to the East Coast, where she has happily landed at Pulse Marketing. With 15 years of marketing and communications under her belt, Jasmine has accumulated several specialties. 🛠️ Her favorite is marketing for startups, and she’s worked with over 100 startups throughout her career, ranging from pre-seed rounds to exits and acquisitions.

While marketing is her primary focus, Jasmine also has two side careers as an author 📖 and a dancer 💃. She has two children’s books published under Green Bamboo Publishing and spent years working as a journalist before she discovered her knack for marketing. She currently writes the Brooks town column for the Republican Journal. As a dancer, she has taught and performed all over the world, including with her favorite band, Beats Antique. Locally, she teaches belly dance classes in Belfast and Belmont.

Meet Senior Account Manager Julie! 🤝 Julie is a people person with extensive knowledge in all things marketing. As a Senior Account Manager at Pulse, she collaborates with clients on strategy, digital campaigns, research, design, branding, and more! With over 20 years of marketing experience, Julie is a smart, fun, and engaging member of our team. A natural leader, she loves listening and learning about the various industries in which her clients work. Whether she's speaking with board members of a nonprofit organization or the head of a technology company, Julie prides herself on finding solutions that help her clients grow their businesses. 🌱

In her free time, you’ll find Julie sailing the ocean blue around Brooklin ⛵ or dancing and laughing with her daughter, friends, and dogs in Portland 💃. Maine runs in her blood, as do labrador retrievers. Oh, and she's always up for a game of cribbage—she even travels with a board in her car.
