Embracing my age is something I have learned over the past year.

As I turn the page from 32 -> 33 I feel more confident in who I am and what I stand for. I am okay with the things that make me uniquely me. I am understanding the importance of encouraging and lifting up others. It’s okay to make mistakes just to make sure I learn from them. I know what it means to put family first and the most important thing is to give my worries to God.

Getting older should be embraced. The more experiences the more wisdom the more opportunities life provides grow with us. My 30s have been the best years of my life I can truly say. I’ve gotten married, opened a business, became an NP, built a home and felt life within me. I don’t want to take life for granted which is why birthdays mean so much to me!

Jawline and cheek filler immediately after!

Typically this filler takes 4 weeks to fully mesh with the tissues, especially in the jawline. It generally looks thick and you can feel the filler, this is perfectly normal until it settles.

Lips are always in!

For this patient she wanted to reduce the lines above her lip. For this we have to do two things.

1). Re establish a lip boarder to help with structure using a soft lip filler.

2). Use a injectable hydration product such as to help hydrate the lines around her mouth.

This is all done with one treatment of 1 hour. Numbing is used to help reduce pain. Results last 6 - 12 months.

Tox is different for everyone but here is a little guideline to help understand how I dose!

How often do I need my tox treatment?

General rule of thumb is every 3-4 months. This is also completely customizable.

For those of my patients that want to remain more frozen (aka no movement) I see them every 8 weeks for smaller corrections. Epically little bits in their forehead.

For those that don’t mind a little movement while their muscles regain strength, I see them every 3 months.

For those who are purely doing this for prevention (aka those who don’t mind moving for a few months) I see them back every 6 months.

Yes! I do have some patients that just see me occasionally maybe around a birthday or a special trip and that is okay too!

My biggest takeaway is that the more apparent the line is the more diligent you have to be with your treatments. Generally this means seeing me every 3-4 months so that the muscle stays quiet and the skin has time to heal!

As we transition into the summer season, we may be pausing our laser facial treatments. However, we have a range of other facial treatments available that can still provide you with great results☀️
