It was July 4th 1976 the bicentennial the Tall Ships and Jim Miller’s beautifully crafted arrangement of America The Beautiful (accapella in 4 part harmony) mixed with Neil Sedaka’s The Immigrant (about John Lennon’s battle to become a citizen) Live at Bobby V’s Ramada inn Hyannis. Today at 7-8:30 PM our last summer concert being held at the Gazebo on route 6A Dennis corner of Old Bass River Road. Featuring Dennis Flaherty vocals doing Sinatra, Bobby Darin and Dean Martin. 17 piece Big band. Now rehearsing at the Osterville Village Library and called the OVL House Band.

Cape Conservatory Jazz Band The Conservatory Jazz Band started in 1981. Directed by Ty Newcomb for nearly 20 years, this top-notch big band performs fundraisers for local charities.

Great concert to go to after we had to cancel last month. Our lead trumpet player Joe Casano and his brother Mike’s Fantastic Big Band. Last did a concert with Randy Brecker before the pandemic .

At the Osterville Village Library outside under tent my 18 piece Jazz Big Band will be performing a free concert. Featuring New Jersey recording artist Scott Avidon on Tenor Sax and new singing talent Danielle DeCastro. We will be doing many Sinatra, Basie, Kenton favorites.

Tomorrow night August 15th 6-7 PM free concert at the Osterville Village Library under tent outside 43 Wianno Ave. featuring Dennis Flaherty and Leslie Boyle singing Nat (and Natalie) King Cole “Unforgettable” solo and duet arrangements. Featuring also trumpet master high note specialist Joe Giorgiani from Blood Sweat and Tears tours and the Buddy Rich Band. Don’t miss it and the fabulous raffle to win a new BMW!

Join us for the Falmouth Fireworks Fanfare Show on July 4th. The Big Band starts at 7 PM and goes till just before the 9 PM Fireworks Show. It's being held across the street *on a baseball field( from the British Beer Company on Grand Avenue in Falmouth Heights. Joining us is the fabulous internationally known singer originally from Sandwich MA Jessica Curran. She has a new CD entitled HERE and it has a composition of hers that was the winner of the world wide John Lennon song writers competition's Jazz Division. So honored to have her. She will be signing for sale copies of her CD from the stage. She and our male vocalist extraordinarie Dennis Flaherty will salute Nat King Cole and his daughter Natalie. Some Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald thrown in for good measure. The Band will be doing some instrumentals by Stan Kenton, LA's Gordon Goodwin and the greatest hits from Count Basie. A great band playing the greatest music from the American Songbook. Don't miss it...It's FREE!!!

Join us and come to the Falmouth Fireworks Show on the 4th. Grand Avenue in Falmouth Heights across from the British Beer Company on the baseball field. We play from 7:00 PM to just before the fireworks at 9:00 PM.
Joining us (from Sandwich MA originally) is singer song writer Jessica Curran who just won 1st place in the Jazz Division of the John Lennon worldwide song writers competition with her song WEIGHTLESS from her new CD HERE. Backing her up is the Cape Conservatory 18 piece Jazz Big Band with Dennis Flaherty who will be doing a tribute to Nat King Cole (100 years ago was born) with Jessica Curran singing the songs of his daughter Natalie. Also some Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald thrown in for good measure.
The band pays tribute to Count Basie Stan Kenton and LA’s phenomenal composer arranger Gordon Goodwin.

Concert tonight at St. Pius X Life Center 5 Barbara St. South Yarmouth off Station Avenue 7:30 PM. A tribute to Nat and Natalie Cole ( 100th birth year of Nat King Cole) with the original big band arrangements for both. Dennis Flaherty and Leslie Boyle featured vocalists. Steve Ahern guest Trumpet soloist. Free admission with free will donations accepted going 100% towards the programs to help the homeless in Dennis/Yarmouth by the Ecumenical Council.
