Delayed update #..........however long.
With the floors wrapping up today or tomorrow, restocking may begin. Shelves, vanities, sinks, counters, and all the inventory will be replenished. All the little bits, phone, credit card machine, WiFi and the like are sorted through. I HAD said this Friday, the 18th. However, it will most likely be Sat. the 19th or, worst case, the following Monday (We'll know more as things come together). By Thursday, we should have a more concrete idea. We appreciate everyone's concerns and inquires. See ya'll soon.

good afternoon! with a lot of thought. I have decided after almost 11 years of being a salon owner. I am ready for something new! with that being said. I am still going to be doing hair ect... just might be in a different spot. this is not gonna happen overnight. so no worries i will be here for you! with all that said. UPDATE 9:50 PM TUESDAY: Mr. Joy was located safe this evening at a convenience store in Alburgh. He is in the process of being reunited with his family. The Vermont State Police thanks everyone who assisted in the search.
MISSING PERSON/LOCATED SAFELY: John R. Joy, 91, of Randolph, Vermont.
LAST SEEN: 10:56 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, in the vicinity of 178 Conservation Way, Sunderland, Vermont.
The Vermont State Police is investigating a missing persons case in the area of Sunderland and asking for the public’s assistance in attempting to locate the individual and a vehicle he was last seen driving.

John R. Joy, 91, of Randolph was last seen at about 10:56 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2023, in the vicinity of the Orvis store on Conservation Way in Sunderland driving a 2018 silver Toyota Prius with Vermont license plate ETG 995. Mr. Joy experiences dementia and appeared confused and lost when he was last seen. Investigators believe he may have been attempting to drive to Bennington Hospital to see a family member, but he never arrived and has not been seen since.

The disappearance is not considered suspicious, but there are concerns for Mr. Joy’s welfare. He is white, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 145 pounds, with thinning salt-and-pepper hair.

Anyone who sees Mr. Joy or his vehicle is asked to contact the Vermont State Police in Shaftsbury at 802-442-5421.

This months Community Animal Aid Clinic is this Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the East Barre Fire Station. See flyer below for more details. Reminder, the town supplies the space but is not involved with the clinic itself.

They will come from Montpelier up Rt. 302/ the Barre Montpelier Rd, through Barre City to Rt. 14 S to South Barre where they will take Rt. 63 to Berlin. Ending at approximately 9:10

All letters with a return address will receive letters back from Santa!

We want to give back to the community who has always supported us (especially in recent years) and the best way we know how is to feed you! The Thanksgiving meal is free, but we are asking for donations from those who are able to so we can help out a local charity.

We will be accepting messages and phone calls to reserve plates prior to Thursday but we will also accept drive-up and walk-ins too on the day-of, while supplies last 🇺🇸 We will be offering bar service this year from 11am-2pm too!

We have purchased a block of property from Brett's family right across the street on Merchant/Summer Street. We are ver excited for it to stay in his family. Check out our page Kerin Properties LLC.!
We're super excited to be moving the gym to 42 Summer Street where Salon 42 used to be! We have some renovations to complete, but are hoping to be in there sometime around February 1st. In addition to the gym, we will also have a couple of other commercial rental properties and 7 residential rental units as well.
In the meantime, the gym will remain in the same spot and running as normal! We are so sad to see our space be sold, but we are tremendously excited for a new opportunity and hopefully a more affordable and efficient building so that we can keep the gym open for many years to come!! We will share more details as they come up and are so thankful for your continued support!

Marble Arvidson, 17, was last seen on the afternoon of August 27th, 2011, leaving his Brattleboro residence. Marble is an avid hiker and reportedly took his hiking boots with him. It may be possible that Marble became a victim of Tropical Storm Irene as this major storm hit on the same day Marble was last seen.

There has been some reported sightings of Marble in the Brattleboro area since he was last seen but nothing has been confirmed at this time and he remains listed as a missing person, anyone with any information on this case is asked to call our Westminster office at 802-722-4600.
