This is a great week to stop in at Scratched - I put out another excellent used collection I bought (some titles below), and three more crates of bargain records.

Putting on the floor a really nice and varied used collection I acquired last weekend...very clean, with lots of favorites and some unusual titles as well!

It's the first anniversary of my mom's passing (yahrzeit), and I've been thinking about the music she used to sing around the house. She liked Willie Nelson, Ella, Tom Jones, The Beatles and, for some reason, The Rockin' Clones. So we're jamming Vanessa today at the store, sending out the vibe -

As you all know, Asheville, one of the greatest music and arts towns on this planet, has been devastated by the recent floods. The entire River Arts District has been wiped out, among other commercial areas and along with so many residences - in the city, surrounding towns, and across North Carolina. Joe Russo's Almost Dead was scheduled to play at the Salvage Station this weekend, but the club no longer exists. Finally got out the rest of those two fine used collections I acquired around Labor Day. Lots of awesome titles left, great condition.
