Slowly but surely getting my steps in! On to the next….
Step 1 done! Bonnie Hunters winter mystery, Indigo way, is underway for me. Some would say I’m late to the party, but that’s the beauty of Bonnie’s mystery. You can do it your own way, in your own time. Tomorrow I’ll start the next step.
M’s quilt finally graduated and is off to college! This is the Zoe pattern from GE Designs. Fabric is a bundle called Goose Creek, also from GE. Quilted pattern is called Moulin Rouge from Urban Elementz.
My Christmas in Europe top is done! Now I’m ready to get started on London Calling. Love these mysteries from GE Designs! I’ve done the tops for all of them. It will be quite the sight to see when I finally quilt them.
Quilted for a customer. Isn’t this the cutest? Pattern is from a Missouri Star Block magazine. The quilting complements it beautifully, if I do say so myself.
Lil Saga pattern, believe it or not. It’s beautiful fabric (date night Lil bundle) and it’s a beautiful table topper. However, it’s really a Melanie Makeup! I errored in so many ways it could never be duplicated!
This pattern is Zoe by GE Designs. I accomplished one of my goals at a weekend retreat. Got the borders added to this beauty, and it’s ready for quilting.
Our Red bird had a successful flight! New chapters are hard, but I managed it without tears. Probably stayed too long for her liking. 😉
Ready for move-in day tomorrow! Yep, I’m going for the prize in the most organized car category! That’s a thing, right? 😂
Finished my first puzzle piece in the Cotton Cuts Fall Puzzle Mystery Quilt “Carnival”. So fun and fast with the pre-cut pieces!! I’m doing the small size in Sky Diver.
Remember the Kimberly QAL with GE Designs? I’m catching up on my personal quilting projects, and this one is ready for gifting!
Enjoy this beautiful quilt my customer made. I think it’s just stunning. The quilting pattern is called Mikimoto, and it proves to be a great choice.
Computerized custom quilting for a customer. I love how it turned out. I really know how to thread my machine now!
Friday is the last day for Seniors, so parents decorate their parking spots. Here we go!
Look at that! It’s all official now! The big day is May 24, and then summer will be filled with traveling, shopping, and preparing for college life. Oh boy, here we go!!!
🎓
This is a fantastic game! It had my name all over it. Calico by Fallout games.
The decision is made! I will be an ISU Mom in the fall! Our summer will be filled with many trips to Normal.
Step 1 of retreat prep done! Next comes paint. Our basement is going to be such a great retreat spot!
GASP!! Look what arrived today! I’m over the moon!!! If you’re a fan of Gudrun Erla, you’ll know what this is. Did you get yours yet?
My Bonnie Bunter mystery for this past season is all out together! Doing my victory lap and then it’s going to get in line for quilting. I love how this one turned out!
When you just learned your box is on the way!! What happy Friday news!
Ready to help! The other is supervising. Is it obvious they live with a quilter?
Happy gotcha day to my Luna! 5 years ago we brought her home from the shelter. Her name there was So So Pretty. It’s apt!
Just a few of my favorites. Another step done! Loving the way it’s coming along. Merry Christmas!
Another weekend, another step done! So far the pace on this one is perfect for me. Or my time management is better than I thought! 😀
My decision to do 1/2 is paying off this year. I’ve been able to keep up with the clues every week on the Bonnie Hunter Quiltville Annual mystery. This one is called Chilhowie and I’m using her recommended colors. 3 steps in; still time to join in on the fun!
Mama has a brand new bag! My fall version of the Rockstar bag pattern by SewSweetness. I’ve made this pattern several times, and I love it. Lots of pockets and I added a strap inside to hang my keys.
Another happy customer! These are memory quilts made from baby clothes. What a great way to preserve all those memories.
I did all the sewing, quilting, and binding on these.
Here is the finished Kimberly. I still want to love things a bit to balance the colors better, but I love it! I’ll post more when I guilt it. I have the perfect pattern in mind.
