Saturday August 17 is the Wheaton ALL NIGHT FLEA & Haunted Flea Market at the DuPage Event Center & Fairgrounds. It is the largest all night flea markets that we have ever been to! Hours at 3pm to 1 am! The carnival food is amazing and there so much to see that you better get here early. You will even have to opportunity to talk to celebrities. Oh, and bring a flashlight for when it gets dark – or else you will be buying one from a vendor. LOL!
We are usually in Building 1 - the red brick building.
We plan on having honey, comb honey, honey candy, honey straws (stix), creamed honey, beeswax bars, beeswax candles, soap, lotion, and lip balm and much more!

Bees need clean water too! We put out chicken waterers that hold five gallons of water to help them at many of our bee yards. Bees collect water for many hive processes. Everything from honey processing to cooling the hive require water. If the water contains pesticides, larvaecides, or growth regulators the hive will suffer.
In the summer our bee yards go through five gallons in a few weeks.

We finished cleaning more wax this weekend. Approximately 60 pounds was rendered and poured into our pans. All pans received a thorough cleaning after this.
We are disappointed in the quality of the Wilton pans that we are using. It is clear that they were not made properly. On some of the pans the non stick coating is coming off and the pan is rusting. So we are going to have replace a bunch of them before we do more wax work.
