Prepare Meals for clients. Serv-Safe certified or able to obtain. Keep Attendance & Menu Record. Adhere to AHA & ADA Dietary recommendation.

Administer medications, document response to medication.
Communicate with physicians and other medical professionals
Collaborate with physicians to create a Plan of Care for each patient
Consider the age of the patient and his or her emotional stability when determining appropriate treatment
Create and contribute to patients’ medical records as needed
Respond to inquiries, concerns and complaints from participants and their families
Counsel participants and family members before, during and after treatment
Report change in status to Dr. & their families
Take charge in medical emergency
Educate participants and families on disease process, medication and treatments.

Full Potential Adult Daycare is looking for an activity Director. We are located in Southaven Ms. We are looking for someone creative, energetic, and enthusiastic about serving the geriatric and disabled populations. Certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: project management & communications of programs & events; writing, editing, and updating content for web & print, managing social media networks, web presence, emails, and other communications. Promotes agency services and events through a variety of communication methods including the agency website social media, and other emerging technologies. Build collaborations and partnerships in the community. Build & maintain a networks of contacts with other communication specialist.

The Mid-South Food Bank is opening a satellite distribution center in Batesville, and will be HIRING a warehouse manager, warehouse workers, and truck drivers.

Applications will be available this Monday, May 11th, from 10am to 3pm at 875 Highway 51 South, Batesville, MS 38606. This location is attached to the Anderson Technologies building.

Full Potential Adult Daycare decided to bless each of our participants with a love basket. The basket was filled with essential items for their homes. We are grateful that during this pandemic, Full Potential is able to continue to help our community. Often our seniors are forgotten about, but they are the heart of Full Potential. It only takes a little to show love and spread joy. It really made us (the staff) feel good to know our Full Potential family is safe and their needs are met. We are blessed to serve such a beautiful community of people. We pray that God will allow us to serve you again in the very near future. WE LOVE & MISS ALL OF YOU!!

Full Potential has now been closed for 5 weeks and we are missing our Full Potential family dearly. Yesterday the staff and I decided to do a drive by to each of our clients homes to let them know they are on our minds and that we have not forgotten them. We drove 5 hours spreading joy, laughter, and tears. It really made us (the staff) feel good to be so warmly accepted. The phone calls, text, and post from family members and our participants really made our day. Some were not home, so we didn’t get to see everyone but we were definitely thinking about all of our participants. We are blessed to serve such a beautiful community of people. We pray that God will allow us to serve you again in the very near future. WE LOVE & MISS ALL OF YOU!!

To Our Batesville Citizens and Those That Come Into Our City,

We have lived these past days and will continue to face days ahead that we have never faced before! Today, as I rode the streets of Batesville, I saw many things and felt many emotions! I saw many restaurants with dining areas closed. I saw many vacant parking lots. I saw retail stores jammed with rushing and concerned customers, but I get a sense of peace.
Peace came from the people being kind, friendly and neighborly...... but, most of all, peace came to me from our Lord! I see a peacefulness that I cannot explain as I witness folks getting along with each other during the seriousness of this time of emergency.
I can just tell you that I feel sure we have some tough days ahead, but I remain confident that we, as a loving and caring community, will survive!
I ask that everyone practice common sense, follow the warning of social distancing and use good hygiene.
Please stay in, be cautious with your purchasing and remember the next customer’s needs.
We will get through this storm together!

Panola Medical Center

Panola Medical Center has set up a drive through for patients experiencing respiratory symptoms including COVID-19 testing. The process is as follows: if a person wants to present for testing or has these symptoms, we ask them to directly call Panola Medical at 662-934-7259 and schedule for patient testing. A time will be relayed for the patient to present for testing. We ask that the patient call on arrival and stay in their vehicle. A designated person will be waiting on their arrival. Testing hours are from 8am-5pm. M-F.

PMC is monitoring any changes from the CDC and department of health to ensure the safety of both patient and healthcare provider.

Batesville - MS Police Department

The following is a statement from Mayor Jerry Autrey and Chief Jimmy McCloud. A copy of this statement will be delivered to the affected businesses on March 17, 2020.

To Our Valued Retailer,

After growing concerns for our citizens during the Coronavirus Epidemic, we are requesting that retail stores that provide groceries and household essentials, allow those over the age of 65 years old, be given the first two hours of business hours to shop and further, to not allow those under 65 to enter the store unless assisting an elderly person. This would possibly help senior citizens to less likely be exposed to sickness and allow them to avoid congested walkways.
