🍊 The perfect charcuterie pairing for oysters + shell decorating! 🍊 Tonight we begin our oyster decoupaging nights from 3-7pm. These will happen every Tuesday in November. No reservations required, just pop in between 3-7pm. We provide all the supplies. $15 per person, paid at the register or added to your tab! All ages are welcome.

Sadia spent a lot of time outside hunting and organizing + maintaining the sea farm so we can have the best possible OystHERS next spring 🦪

Lauren recorded her next album of original songs and took a weekend trip to Atlantic City 🎵

Savannah is living it up on the picturesque beaches of Turkey 🇹🇷

Clare continued working on the sea farm and visited Acadia + Quebec City! 🦪 🇨🇦 ⛰️

Rhian spent time with her new kitty cat Pearl and started training for her winter job! 🐈 🍕

Mollie applied for professional jobs, read two books! made great food, and played with allll the pets! 🐶 📚

& the raw bar had some deep cleaning performed in preparation for the busy holidays to come! We begin our craft nights this Tuesday 4:30-7pm with oyster shell decorating! All ages welcome. $15pp all supplies included! 🧼

The one massive question we had to ask ourselves in 2022/2023 when we were investing a lifetimes worth of time, effort, tears, money, more time, more money, more time, sweat and love into starting an oyster + bubbly bar was “will people show up?” we were horrified and on slower days we still get a little scared BUT….
People have shown up, by and far the people have shown up. We celebrate and thank you. Creating the bar was not easy and day to day there will always be challenges—at the END of each day, we focus on the amazing customers. The kind customers, the guests who understand that OystHERS was a passion project created during a time of severe grieving and healing, and the guests that keep coming back, the guests that leave nice reviews and show up excited, the guests that treat our staff with respect and empathy, the guests that want to show us off to friends! We appreciate you, we see you, WE LOVE YOU!!

🍾Yesterday we welcomed in Morse High School class of 1956 for a little get-together gathering 🍾 we had to tell em to tone it down a bit because they were getting rowdy!! When asked, “how many people do you think are coming?” to the person in charge, he responded with: “hell if I know” and that’s the energy we like to see at OystHERS 😂🎉 we loved hosting you class of 1956!! Very wholesome 🫶🏽

🕯️did you know this adorable lil 15 minute woods-walk is only a 10 minute drive from OystHERS? Squirrel Point Light in Arrowsic is one of our favorite lighthouse hikes 🕯️ easy + historic, it’s a great way to get outside and explore Maine’s coast! 🕯️
🦪We are open today through Tuesday from 11:30-7pm, closing at 6pm on Saturday for a private event. Finish your lighthouse hike with champagne + oysters🦪 make this weekend a fun one!

🦪 yee yee olde oystahbah, not even two years old yet! 🦪 it’s easy to forget how much goes into, went into, is going to go into this little oyster bar on the river 🦪 to our awesome staff who shows up after working all day the day before, to the travelers hoping off route 1 for a lil adventure, to the locals who endlessly show up for us too and bring their friends, to the people liking, reading, and sharing our stuff— thank you! 🦪 these open signs are not possible without you, and after a very busy and beautiful second season we have learned & grown a lot and feel lucky to still be able to have them up🦪
🥂 We are open for our season until December 31st, 5 days a week— closed Wednesdays + Thursdays. We will be closed for a fall break/scheduled maintenance from October 28-November 8th 🥂 we have two more Monday music concert nights, and Tuesday craft nights begin November 12th! 🥂 please see our website regarding hours around holidays.
