Following emergency declarations from Governor Jeff Landry and Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome, all BREC facilities will be closed Wednesday AND Thursday due to the anticipated track of Hurricane Francine.
BREC is working closely with the Mayor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (MOHSEP) in designating park locations for sand delivery and pickup as well as additional services that may be needed.
