The Rev. Dr. W. Marshall Myles and the New St. John Church family extend sincerest sympathies and prayers to Bro. and Sis. Ed Pratt. The mother of Sis. Eva Pratt, Mrs. Della Goldman, died at her home in Delhi, La. May God keep you and your family in his his care.
As a church, you need to be united and press toward the mark, and that is having the mind like that was in Jesus Christ.
Let this day of celebration remind us that the good Lord who started this work in us will bring it to completion.

We are saddened to announce the passing of our member, Deacon Feltus Anthony. Pastor W. Marshall Myles and the NSJ church family extend sincerest condolences to Catherine Jackson, Cynthia Anthony and family and ask for your prayers during this difficult time.
The arrangements are for Monday, July 10, 2023 at New St. John Church, 11:00 AM with a viewing from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Southern Memorial Gardens.
Congratulations to our 2022 college graduate, Sydney Gordon. Sydney graduated from Southeastern University, Hammond, La. She is the daughter of Toni and Dr. Kirby Gordon. We’re proud of your accomplishments!

The EBR Council on Aging is hosting a Holiday food giveaway on Saturday. December 10, 2023 at the EBR Council on Aging Administration Bldg., 965 N. 18th St., Baton Rouge, La. beginning at 8:00 AM. The event is open to all Seniors, including the Suburb of Gracie community. Food boxes are limited to one per person until supplies last.

Funeral services for Sis. Juanita Ledoux will be Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 10:00 AM at New St. John Baptist Church, 1455 South St., Baton Rouge, La. Please keep the family in prayer.
Rev. Dr. W. Marshall Myles, Senior Pastor and the Church Family of New St. John Baptist Church are saddened to announce the passing of our member, Deaconess Juanita Ledoux. Sis. Ledoux was a loyal and longtime member of NSJ who participated in many activities of the church. We offer our prayers and deepest sympathies to her husband, Deacon Leroy Ledoux, Sr. and her son Leroy, Jr.

We will celebrate our 103rd Church Anniversary during the 8:00 AM Worship Service. We hope to see you in the house!
Rev. Dr. W. Marshall Myles and the New St. John Church family offer our prayers and condolences to Sis. Artreese Peoples and family on the death of her husband, Terrance. Terrance was a long time member of New St. John who volunteered freely for all cleanup, mentoring and other tasks in the church until his health prevented him from doing them. We will miss him.
We extend our sympathies and prayers to the family.
Rev. Dr. W. Marshall Myles and the New St. John Church family extend sincerest condolences to the family of our member, Kirkland Eames, Sr.
Kirk was a devoted member who sang in the Male Chorus and Chancel Choir.
The funeral service for Kirkland will be Monday, August 8, 2022 at 11:00 at New St. John.
