CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation saves lives!
Many thanks to local non-profit founder, Michelle Temple and Gray’s Army Foundation for giving us her Sunday morning for FREE CPR Classes. Michelle, along with Nick Terebieniec, BR EMS instructed us on how to correctly perform chest compression and how to use an Automatic External Defibrillator.
NOTICE THE DOUBLE GREEN LIGHTS ON THE SHOULDER OF THE MANNEQUINS JANE AND MICHELLE ARE WORKING ON…INDICATING THAT EACH IS USING THE CORRECT PRESSURE AND RHYTHM.

Mardi Gras Monday hosted by Amy, Tina, and Liz was a great way to spend the eve of Fat Tuesday.
We had a blast in the “Throw Me Something” bead toss game. Check out all the styles and strategies for trying to catch beads on your clasped hands in a sumo squat.
Winners were Matthew and Shawn with 11 out of 20!!

Le Chien Running Club Charter Bus to New Orleans CCC10K on March 30, 2024:

We have secured a Dixieland Charter bus to leave from the parking lot of James Grill in Denham Springs promptly at 5:00 am on Saturday, March 30th. (This is just across Range Ave from Le Chien Brewing Company)

Bus will bring us to start of the CCC10K at the New Orleans Superdome.

Then pick us up at end of the course at City Park at 12 pm and bring us back to the James Grill parking lot by roughly 2 pm.

This charter bus must be paid for in advance so all fees must be paid no later than February 29th, 2024. The cost in $60/person. This will cover the bus, tip for the driver and simple but nourishing refreshments.

You may reserve your seat by submitting your payment to Linda Aucoin via Venmo (-Aucoin) or PayPal (paypal.me/LindaAucoin).

On Venmo, make sure to select that you are sending funds to a friend so that they will not hold out fees and short your payment.

We have a maximum capacity of 56 seats so please send your payment as soon as possible in order to ensure that you have a seat reserved.We already have 15 participants and the list is growing. Once we get to 56, we will cease taking requests. Act promptly and don't miss out.

We've made this run a "thing" over the past several years in New Orleans...
Join us this Saturday for our annual Endymion Run. We will meet at 6:30am at the corner of Carrollton Ave. and City Park Ave. and we will go run past some Samedi Gras sights and sounds... this is one of our favorite runs of the year!

Linda has even crafted some commemorative doubloons for the occasion. Wear your carnival colors and we will see you then!

Brandon Saho, a former sports reporter, started his podcast and speaking tours after confronting his own struggle with depression.
In addition to the headline speaker, the program will feature a panel of former professional and student-athletes who will share their own personal experiences and how they managed their own struggles and found hope.
