Thank you to everyone who reviewed the daily safety topics with their team, enforced safe practices on the job sites, and had fun doing it! Together, let’s continue to prioritize safety, ensuring that everyone returns home safely.
| Fall Prevention
Falls are the leading cause of fatalities on construction sites, often due to unprotected edges, improper scaffolding, or ladder use. This Construction Safety Week, let's focus on fall prevention with proper equipment and training to ensure everyone makes it home safely.
| Ladder Safety
According to the CDC, 81% of fall injuries involve ladders. Always remember two key ladder safety practices: always maintain three points of contact and use the right ladder for the job. Let's prioritize ladder safety during Construction Safety Week and every day.
| Scaffold Safety
Scaffold safety is critical for every construction project. However, it also carries risks like falls and collapses. Training and daily safety reviews are vital to prevent accidents and ensure adherence to safety standards. At MAPP, we prioritize scaffold safety to protect our workers at heights.
| Electrical Safety
Electrical safety is a top priority during Construction Safety Week. Understanding the risks associated with electricity is key to preventing accidents and fatalities on job sites. Stay vigilant and proactive in spotting and addressing electrical hazards promptly.
| Heavy Equipment Safety
This Construction Safety Week, let's emphasize the importance of safely operating heavy equipment. While these machines are highly effective, they can also be hazardous.
