We ended Nursing home week with Hip Hop day!

We boot scoot and boogied yesterday!
The day started with playing ring toss and ended with some good ole country music 🤠

Elvis was in the building, and so was our favorite food! Crawfish and rock n roll was the best way to celebrate our 50’s day 🎸

Our first stop on our trip down memory lane was the 1930’s!
Flappers, old time nurses, and monopoly took us right back to the Art Deco decade💃🏽

We are celebrating Autism Awareness month today with a few of our Autism mamas💙
You can join us by wearing blue to raise awareness to promote autism acceptance, celebrate neurodiversity and individual differences, and continue to advance inclusivity and connectedness throughout the community.

Last week our staff gathered into teams for a kickball tournament, and the residents were the best cheerleaders 📣😁

Happy National Pet day! We had a visit from Teddy, who got lots of treats and pets😁

The Easter bunny made its way to Old Jefferson today🐣🐰

Love was in the air yesterday as we crowned our new Valentine’s Day royalty❤️

Thank you to all of our friends, family, residents, and staff for making our annual open house Christmas party such a success! Food, music, presents, and good company was had by all 🎄

Our 2023 Fall Festival was such a success! Residents, family, and staff enjoyed food, games, prizes, friends, and LOTS of laughter. We are truly thankful for our Old Jefferson community not only this season, but every season!

Our wheelchair car wash was a huge success! The residents wheelchairs got a good scrub, got cool in the misters, and were rewarded with ice cream and snacks😁

We are drinking some refreshing lemonade, and listening to some good music on this summer afternoon☀️

The residents had a grande ol’ time at the Old Jefferson Saloon🤠

Our McKinley grads are still receiving so much love! Thank you to McKinley High for the visit and the goodies💙

Four McKinley High School graduates, who had not seen each other since graduation, recently reconnected at Old Jefferson Community Care Center.

Vera, 101; Frankie, 95; Estelle, 97; and Genevie, 95; graduated from the high school in the mid-1940′s.
