We said goodbye to our campers, student clinicians, and beloved building on Jefferson Hwy! We will miss our campers' sweet faces and the students who supported our therapists each week to make camp a fun and successful learning environment.

The took a BIG step forward, moving from our clinic of nine years into our new home on Picardy. We couldn't have done it without the incredible help and support from our amazing team. A massive THANK YOU to everyone who lent a hand today AND in the August heat! Your efforts mean the world to us!

Our last Water Wednesday at Camp Dynamics was a splash-tacular success! Campers AND therapists had a blast with water balloon fights, sq**rt guns, and water games! The smiles, laughter, and fun were absolutely contagious! It was the perfect way to wrap up an amazing season of Water Wednesdays at camp! 💦🎈🌞

We are excited to announce that we are officially moving into our new building next month. Our opening day is Tuesday, August 6!

We know it can be hard to find time to practice your child’s articulation skills at home, but did you know you can practice anywhere? Practicing your child’s therapy skills outside of the therapy room helps them to remember their new skills and meet their goals faster. Try activities in the car such as:
>> playing the I Spy Game
>> telling a story
>> drawing a picture and telling someone about it, or
>> thinking of something that starts with each letter/sound in the alphabet

Our goal at Camp Dynamics is to provide activities for children to generalize motor patterns and sensory stimulation into meaningful actions! Children learn by doing, and they learn about their bodies through the sensory feedback generated by movement. The key movements we use in motor lab help children develop the skills necessary for learning readiness. Skills needed to thrive in school are motor-based, like handwriting, keyboarding, sitting still, paying attention, and more.

At Camp Dynamics, we conduct motor lab daily to help children learn to maneuver their environment and increase their functional independence in school-related tasks.

We are so lucky to have Ms. Michelle Kilcrease on the this summer! She is filling in as the teacher in Dynamic Days while Ms. Jessica enjoys a well-deserved vacation.

Ms. Michelle has been teaching students with special needs since 1990 and is currently teaching preschoolers with significant disabilities at Southdowns PreK. She brings a wealth of experience and a passion for early childhood education, and we know our little ones are in great hands!
