Have a graduate that is headed off to college soon? Packing up to send them off anxiety producing in more ways than one! These 3 easy tips will make this next step a little easier:

Narrow clothing items down. Experts recommend about 2-3 weeks worth of clothes. Don't forget to consider the climate--ie. heavy coats aren't necessary in Florida.

Consider purchasing toiletries and cleaning supplies upon arrival to save time and money on packing/shipping them.
If purchasing new gadgets (like a mini fridge, etc.), be sure to test them out before packing/shipping. Ensure they work correctly, and have all the necessary parts.

While these are only a few packing tips, hopefully this will help limit the tears to those of emotion (your baby is leaving!) and not frustration. If you really want to save yourself some trouble you can always call us and we promise you'll cry only tears of joy!

--Clean out and discard anything spoiled, old, or unwanted.

--Wipe down all the shelves and drawers.

--Use water-resistant shelf-liner to line your drawers and shelves.

--Group like items together, and add them to labeled bins, and containers

--Keep the most used items front and center for easy access.

--Get rid of bulky store-bought packaging.
