You guys have kept me busy this summer! 😅 Transformation Tuesday with another his/hers completed this weekend. 😍

Moving into a new space can be stressful. This client wanted to make their newly combined space more functional and organized. We added 3 bars at the top for out of season clothing. Then I worked with each of them to cull and edit their wardrobes. Finally I went to work organizing by section and combining clothing from 3 different rooms.

And just like that, they now have a space they want to show off! (She actually beat me on posting) 😍😘

Guy Before and After 🤩

This husband was so impressed with his wife’s side of the closet that he immediately asked for my help with his. Lucky for him, I had a client change dates.

While they were on vacation, I completely transformed every hanging, shelf, and drawer space. I also took out things I believed he was no longer wearing that were taking up valuable space. The end result is nothing but amazing. I’m so happy my clients chose me to transform their space. ❤️

The before pics shown here are my favorite kind of closets. My client told me she already went through everything and I just needed to organize it. After spending some time going through each section, I realized there was more that was just taking up space and needed to go. We spent time going through my suggested edits and ended up with 12 bags going to consignment and

Once we finished editing, I began putting the sections together and realized I needed to reconfigure her closet spaces. I added an additional longer hanging section for her pants, brought 2 hanging sections down for easier access, and moved shelving around. I also installed hooks to hang her belts.

Every closet I complete, has this very simple principle in mind- If you can see it, you can wear it. I organized every hanging space, shelf, and drawer. The end result was so good her husband had me do his side. 🤩

I cannot preach this enough- CONTAINERS DO NOT BELONG IN YOUR CLOSET! Yes, there are exceptions and I obviously take it on a closet by closet basis, but as a general rule it’s a no.

Before today, her clothes were in 15 cubbies, drawers, and piled on shelving in her closet. She only had about a tenth of her clothes hanging. 😳 When I finished, we used the 3 drawers and ZERO cubbies for her clothing. Since we did have them, I did use 6 for her husbands clothes that were in drawers in the bedroom.

Now, they both have a functional space! Not only that, but we made a shopping list of “needs” to fill in with her existing wardrobe. She is so excited for her new reality. 🤩

Saturday I took a client shopping for upcoming events including her Son’s rehearsal dinner, Niece’s graduation, and her anniversary dinner. With so many expenses at once, shopping on a budget was necessary. We were able to find everything on her list plus some great staples in 2.5 hours at 3 different stores. Over $2000 retail for $327 including tax! 🙌

A Wardrobe In A Day! 💃

I am so very excited for this client I helped today! I told her when I walked in her house that our problem was going to be narrowing down the options. I shopped at 5 stores, brought her 60+ pieces of clothing, 15 pairs of shoes, and accessories to complete the looks.

We took pictures of each outfit with the shoe choice. Assigned outfits for events from formal to cocktail to date night to hanging with the grandkids. Also, we paired new items with items she already owned. 🙌

What I know how to do is create a wardrobe that will bring you confidence and compliments! And with each client I work with, the overwhelming theme is, “I would have never even picked that up!” We ended up with 36 pieces and 9 pairs of shoes. 🤯

I love my job and I love bringing joy to my clients. 26 years and counting. ❤️

Who hates to shop but wants to feel confident in what you are buying? I got you.

Unpopular opinion-Containers DO NOT belong in a closet.

Why? My motto is, “if you can see it, you can wear it.” If you compare just the first 2 photos, you can easily see how much less cluttered her closet looks. Containers add bulk, collect dust, and usually what’s in the containers never gets used. When I finished, my client said how much bigger her closet looked and I agree!

After 23 years of fashion consulting and transforming closets, I work with you to create a space that is organized and functional. My approach is how can he or she see what they have and get dressed with confidence everyday.

This client didn’t have shelving for shoes so I found a way to display her shoes that made sense for her daily life. She is in love with her new space!

What’s the #1 rule to having an organized closet? MATCHING hangers‼️

I have clients regularly say they already have “matching” hangers. That usually means they got a pack from Amazon, one from Target, on so on. What I’ve found is my clients spent more money for less quality hangers.

After 23 years of being in closets, the BEST and most COST EFFECTIVE hangers are at COSTCO‼️ 13.99/50 Average closet needs 300 hangers. I recommend black because the clothes show up better on the black. For skirts, shorts, and long hanging pants, I use ones from Amazon. Happy to send you a link if needed.

Never have I had a client so excited that they posted the before and after before me, but beat me to it last night. Needless to say, I think Mom gave her the perfect Christmas 🎁.

Wanted to share this project in Orange Beach a few weeks ago. I didn’t take proper “before” pics, but trust me, it was a definite makeover. Her shoe wall DID NOT look like the first pic. I took out about 8 containers and decluttered her space. We made about 50 plus outfits, packed her for 4 upcoming trips, and organized her closet.

Changed it up and did “Afters” first. Loved transforming my clients space! Up next for this client is shopping to fill in a few holes.
