What have we learned this week?

● 1 in 2 families struggle with diaper need
● Diapers cannot be purchased with SNAP or WIC
● Most childcare centers require parents to provide a day’s supply of disposable diapers
● Many parents cannot go to work or school if they can’t leave their babies at childcare
● The poorest 20 percent of Americans who buy diapers spend nearly 14 percent of their post-tax income on diapers. (source: Center for Economic and Policy Research, November 23, 2015)

Last year we gave away 220 bundles of diapers a month. Help us to ensure all babies in need have access to diapers in our community.

We all know, having a baby is expensive. A pack of 25 diapers will cost you $10 today. That will last baby 3-7 days. Every little bit helps!

Most of us cannot imagine missing work due to a lack of diapers, but this is a reality for many families in our community. Want to help? Here are a few ways to create impact:

🟡Host a product drive at your work, church, or home.
🟢Donate to a diaper provider in your community.
🔵Donate diapers (ship them or drop them off).

A baby uses 5-12 diapers per day OR 1,825-4,380 a year.

Charitable Union is here to help! We give a supply of 10 diapers per baby each month. Our most needed sizes are 4-7, and as you might have guessed these are the most expensive sizes.

Donations are accepted Monday-Thursday from 11:00-5:00.

Did you know Charitable Union provides diapers to babies? Each month, they can receive 10 diapers.

Last year we averaged serving 220 babies monthly. This equals 26,300 diapers with a financial impact of over $32,000.00.

Did you know our little Gift Shop is celebrating 21 years this year?
