This week in our Career Spotlight Series we are highlighting Ali Smith, 1999 graduate!
On a snowy evening at the Bay City Community Center, you had volunteer Coach Dell Johnson and trainer Coach Keyon Reed from non-profit Equal Access to Training (E.A.T) teaching the youth how to play basketball.
It was a fun atmosphere with music playing but the seriousness of the situation was quite noticeable. The coaches were determined to get these boys better and by the end of the session and it showed. Ryan Hughes, 7th grade from Christa McAuliffe Middle School, had a one-on-one training session with Coach Dell. Abram Guzman, 6th grade from Bay City All Saints, had a one-on-one session with Coach Key.
On Tuesdays and Thursday evenings, E.A.T. offers customized, personal sports training or group sports training for student athletes in grades 4-11. Currently, there are programs available for free training. E.A.T. also offers personal training for adults or student athletes 16 yrs. and older.
For more information or to inquire about training, contact Coach Dell Johnson at 989.245.1523 or [email protected]. You can also visit their website below:
