I. God promised to preserve His creation.
II. Sin is powerful in its effects on life, but God is greater.
III. Whereas God could have given up humanity because of our rebellion.
IV. God redeems the faithful by grace and sets then on a path of purpose.
V. Humanity has a responsibility to replenish the earth\.

Genesis 9:4-7
VI. Life is sacred and is to be treated as such in all our relationships.
VII. God holds us accountable for how we treat others.
VIII. From the beginning the Lord urged us to. favor life, promote life, and produce life.

Genesis 9:8-13
IX. The promises God makes can be counted on as sure and certain.
X. God. Who created life. commits Himself to preserving and sustaining life.

"God's Promise of Fruitfulness"

Genesis 1:26-30
I. God called humanity to rule over His creation.
II. Human beings are God's special creation having been created in His image and likeness.
III. God has placed human beings on earth to fulfill His purpose and bring Him glory.
IV. As human beings we have a unique relationship with God whereby He blesses us and communicates directly to us.
V. God has called us to serve as His agents in exercising responsible care over His creation in a way that honors Him as Creator.

Genesis 2:16-17
VI. God's plan for humankind includes His call to serve and the freedom to enjoy His provision all within the boundary of His Word.
VII. God warns us of the consequences of disobedience but the decision to obey or disobey is ours.
VIII. The wrong in this world and in humankind is the result of sin-rebelliin against God.

Genesis 3:16-19
IX. Sinful actions will have their consequences.
X. Sin alienates our relationship with others and with the Lord.
XI. Sin brings God's Judgment and leads to death.
XII. The Lord provides for our redemption from sin and gives us hope of eternal life.
