Coach Jones and some of the Blackcat Football Team made a surprise visit to bring us spirit shirts this week! It was so impressive that they not only brought shirts for us, but took the time to personally deliver a shirt to each of our staff members! Amazing Coach and amazing young men leading our football team this year! Go Cats! Thank you building a Legacy of Greatness!

Cherry Elementary 8/17/24 Dear Families, This has been an amazing first week! I have seen so many smiles in the hallways, laughter in the classrooms, and routines...

Important Pick up information:

We will not release students to parents or other adults who walk up to the front with their QR codes.

If you wish to use walk up pick up you may call the office anytime before 2pm and request a transportation change. Walk up pick up is located on the back of the building (9th St.) on the West end of the building (near Cottonwood).

Parents, we knocked almost 20 minutes off of our dismissal time today and it is only the second day! 4:17pm and we were done! You all are awesome! It will keep getting faster!

WE NEED YOUR HELP! Remember, we are a NO PHONE ZONE. Please do not use the pick up line as a time to catch up on text messages or TikTok videos. This will also help speed dismissal as you watch for and wave at your child. The teacher will be able to locate you quicker.
