They said, "How was your holiday?"

Well darling - where do I start? I've been depressed since the NYC Marathon and have been working non-stop through it. I've battled PCOS flares that pushed me into a dark place, and my new medicines cause me to either cry, get angry and/or 💩 more than I'm accustomed to. I had another year without my Dad, and that doesn't get any easier and I'm currently camping out with my stove warming up my top floor because our basement was flooded.

Bright Sides:

1. My family is safe, and we're cleaning as a collective. And now that I wrote that, I don't know if that's a great thing but whatever.
2. I strangely feel motivated to go out for a run in the cold, and maybe that's inspired by my cold house.
3. I had an excuse to put my cold feet on my husband last night without a single grumble.
4. My hot chocolate is spiked, and it's helping my resting b*tch face.
5. As long as sarcasm exists, I'll always have humor.
6. All of the people who told me to lose weight can go **** *** cause this extra fat is saving my life right now.
7. This cup makes everything right in the world when life is being extra.

Bonus Fries:

1. Oxtail beef patties are delicious.
2. Thank God for my mom and sister because I am still eating a giant sandwich from yesterday.
3. My new nails make me smile.

Seriously, I know it could be worse and hoping it doesn't get worse. All I have are my thoughts some days. I'm trying my hardest to keep my spirits up. I've been silent, but don't count me out. Your girl is just going through a rough season. I love all of you.
