7 Reasons To Give Your Older Dog Turmeric Every Day Odds are, you’ve heard about the benefits of turmeric for both people and pets. Not only is there always another good animal
in need of a good home,
but we must remember to be thankful
for the time and love our animals give us
while they are here.
Take time to enjoy them and learn from them.
As painful as it is to lose them,
they teach us to love unselfishly,
they teach us to live each day to the fullest,
they teach us to grow old gracefully,
and they teach us to die with dignity.
We do them disrespect
to focus only on the sorrow of their death
when they have given us so much joy through their life.
If we wish to honor them,
take what they have given us,
all that love,
and give it back to another animal
in need of help.

Psychologist Julie Axelrod pointed out that the loss of a dog is so painful because we are not losing just one thing; we experience multiple losses at the same time. We may be losing our primary companion, a source of unconditional love, a “life witness” who provides security and comfort to us, and maybe even a protégé whom we mentor like a child. The loss of a dog seriously disrupts your daily routine, even more profoundly than the loss of most friends and relatives, and changes in lifestyle and routine are one of the primary building blocks of stress.

Dear friends, I apologize to my followers that I have not posted anything in a great while. As you all know, or have seen via posts, my sweet boy crossed the rainbow bridge in August. It has taken me some time to "exercise" my healing muscles. So, Here I am. I was reminded that although I am a certified animal healer, I also am healed by animals. Please let me know if any furry/hairy/hairless friends of yours are in need. I have a new found respect of end of life transitioning due to a few AMAZING teachers. My commitment to you will be coming back on said grid. Love and light ❤🐾💫

My sweet baby boy will be crossing the rainbow bridge on Tuesday. He has been my everything for almost 16years. Smart, handsome, loving, healer, best friend, travel buddy, food lover....and the ETERNAL LOVE OF MY LIFE. Please think of him and I as we transition and keep our loving, spiritual connection. Benjamin, mommy loves you so much. If I could kiss your face forever I would. Leave with dignity and grace. You are the toughest soul I know. But my heart forever broken. I will be with you always.

With the weather warming up it is important to take in consideration your dog's safety. ALL dogs can succumb to heatstroke, but there are a few breeds that are more susceptible than others.

Keep your dogs safe this summer!

I mean, if prairie dogs and yellow labs can get along in a swimming pool then why can't we? Outside of a swimming pool, too, I'm assuming.

You can all play a role in healing your pet. From personal experience and many scenarios I encounter, pets will give you signs if they need medical attention. My greatest advice is, you know your pet. Do not question your intuition! Things could be time sensitive. What's the worst that can happen?...you spend money on an office visit and your baby turns out to be fine? Pretty great "worse" case scenario. Take a picture or video
Of anything odd. Your vet will appreciate it. Follow up with reiki in home or distant for complementary healing with modern medicine.
