(The look on my boys face when I said well we need to clean this place every hour on the hour, during and after each session)

As of now, It will be "business as usual" at TSA until advised otherwise by official organizations such as the CDC.

Just like the Cold & Flu Season, we are asking ALL of our members:

• If you are sick, stay home until you are 100% well.

• If you believe something is wrong with your health, beyond the common cold, contact your medical care provider (Doctor, Urgent Care, Hospital, Etc.) for help.

• Wash your hands before coming to the gym.

• Wash your hands upon entering the gym.

• Wash your hands before you leave the gym.

• Do not touch your face.

• Wash your hands before you eat.

• Manage your mental & emotional health by staying "stress free" as much as you can. Limit your time watching fear based news.

• Empower yourself by staying in contact with your health care providers for guidance including expert information offered by the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention).

• Eat healthy, get adequate sleep, exercise, and stay around POSITIVITY.

• When in doubt, trust your instincts and always lead with common sense.

If any question or concerns, you can contact us personally at [email protected] OR 845-641-0797

It’s never too late to kick it back into gear and start working out again after a break.

If TSA could coach you through this here’s 5 things I’d say we’re good idea to focus on

START SMALL: So you haven’t lifted a weight in a while? Give yourself a break. You are not in the same place you were before and that is okay. All it takes is one good workout to reboot yourself.

TAKE ONE STEP AT A TIME: Try not to make a ton of changes at once. Plan ahead. For that first week, you plan on exercising, sit down on Sunday evening, look at your schedule for the week, and decide when you are going to fit in that 10-minute workout each day.

SET SHORT TERM GOALS: Setting goals for yourself will help you to stay motivated and feel accomplished. When you set these goals, make them specific, realistic, and achievable for yourself. Once you have set a goal, think of how you will be rewarded.

CREATE NEW HABITS or RESTART OLD ONES: Habits are created from doing the daily activities we choose to put our time towards consistently.

REMEMBER DO IT FOR YOURSELF: You are always a work in progress and being fit and healthy should be about making you feel great, feel confident in your own skin, and be the best version of you that you can be. You are doing this for yourself and no else, so don’t give up and don’t let yourself down

TSA OG’s: Where Are They Now

“TSA provided me with the proper techniques to establish a stronger version of myself. Through TSA, I was challenged both physically and mentally. Every time I found myself getting better and better, Lou found a way to challenge me through a workout with a different focus. This only benefited me throughout high school sports and into college. Lou has always coached me on mental toughness and the ability to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. Having that strong mindset was key in performing at the next level. Nothing ever came easy working with Lou, but that’s what made me a better athlete.”

TSA OG’s: Where Are They Now

“Lou runs a special program at Triumph and he genuinely cares about everyone he trains. The knowledge I gained on how to train correctly and with PURPOSE has shaped how I continue my training today. As a cadet at West Point, physical fitness is a necessity in order to survive. The strength and power that I developed at Triumph carried over to the military and made me a better cadet. I have even been able to help fellow cadets along their training with the knowledge and concepts that I learned at Triumph. If you give Lou your time and maximum effort, he will get you to your goals. Period. When I commission as a US Army officer next May, I definitely owe a piece of my success to Lou Torres and Triumph Strength and Athletics.”

TSA OG’s: Where are they now

- Jason Kovacs

“Lou taught me early on the importance of dedication, hard work, and staying the course. Results do not come overnight, the journey to your goals is long and grueling and there are no shortcuts, but with TSA guiding me I never deviated from the path. My workouts at TSA with Lou taught me I could push my body farther then I could imagine and that your mind will quite well before your body. This directly helped me in my military career and I will always give a huge shoutout to Lou for instilling that fighting mindset in me early on. I would have never developed the love I have for training that I have today without TSA and all of there support.”

TSA OG’s: Where are they now

- David Adams

I’m very grateful for being able to come to TSA over my high school years before leaving for college.

I began to realize that training in the weight room for your sport doesn’t necessarily just involve moving a lot of weight. It’s also about how you move it and what direction(s) you can move it (especially for track and field).

TSA helped me in that regard because it was never just a basic work out plan; it was based on making your entire body more efficient and athletic. Being exposed to that kind of training since (what I believe was sophomore year in high school) is without a doubt a reason I’m where I am today.

TSA OG’s: WHERE ARE THEY NOW

- Justin Warner

“Through my different athletic careers, I've had a lot of personal success. I firmly believe that almost all of that success is rooted in the training I have received from Triumph. Having a trainer that isn't just focused on making your body better at lifting weights, and instead is focusing on helping to make your body better able to preform during competition is key. Without this program I wouldn't have been able to exceed at the high school level or to have the success in college ball I did, period”

TSA OG’s: WHERE ARE THEY NOW

- Lauren Schneider

“Joining Triumph was one of the best decisions I ever made. I always did sports when I was younger so I knew that I was an athletic girl, that I was strong, fit etc. But I never truly realized my strengths and skills until I started at TSA. Lou and the other trainers at TSA really taught me how to utilize my strengths and build upon them in the best way possible. I would always underestimate myself and say that a weight would be too heavy for me or that I wouldn’t do a skill correctly. Lou would make me do it and I would be so suprised by myself and my abilities as a lifter.

Being a girl, I would be told that I was weaker than boys and that I couldn’t keep up with them and training at TSA helped me prove them wrong. On some occasions I would be the only female in my session and I was so proud of myself that I was able to keep up with the boys and do the same exact skills as them. Before TSA, I would never think that I was capable of being that strong. TSA helped me become a powerful gymnast, a strong track athlete and a motivated softball player. Ever since high school I have taken pride in being a strong female and training at Triumph has been a big influence on my mindset. TSA taught me discipline, hard work, motivation, confidence and helped me grow as a female. And I owe it all to Triumph, thanks Lou!”

TSA OG’s: Where are they now.

Jay Underwood is tough nose, gritty kid that flourished under just simply being directed in the right way.

“ I started with TSA the winter prior to my senior football season. While training at TSA I was finally able to put on some lean mass, something that was always a challenge for me. I learned the proper way to do movements I thought I knew, and learned new movements I never had done before. These movements gave my body explosiveness that transferred well onto the field giving me an edge over my opponents. Having Lou there to critique your form while your training is something money can’t pay for. It makes your workout session so much more efficient and the proof is in the pudding.

The sessions at TSA made me believe I was working much harder than my opponents which ultimately lead to success. Also being a part of the TSA community you build camaraderie with the people you train with and that allows you to push even harder. TSA gave me a rock solid foundation to build off and it still reflects now. Weight training at HVCC during football camp lifts, my head coach would direct teammates who were having trouble with movements to watch me “Jon usually has the best form” he’d say to them and that directly correlates to what I’ve learned from my time at TSA. The proper way to train.”

Dominic came to us as a sophomore in High School, balancing school work & multiple sports.

Without question one of TSA's crazier transformation to date- within a 3 year timeline putting on 100 lbs on size is no easy task by any means.

Needing to put on size for football & being a track field athlete- he flourished with following our programs with CONSISTENCY- most importantly.

Now throwing for University of Albany and being ahead of the curve in the weight room he's a solid attribute for Albany throwing team.

Super proud of Dominic for making the absolute best with what cards he's been dealt in life- and choosing to rise to his highest potential.

TSA OG’s: WHERE ARE THEY NOW

Rafael came to us like most middle/high school athletes looking to prepare for college athletics - and simply separate from the pack on his given sports.

Being a 2 sport athlete plus school work & other commitments means being strapped for time.

A decision many great athletes will have to make is simple- Am I willing to truly give e writhing towards these goals?

In our experience most 16+ yrs olds will have to commit to morning workouts to meet the weekly requirements of everything that needs to be done to reach high level athletics.

5am workouts is just what Rafael did at TSA- his senior year leading up to his signing day with PACE UNIVERSITY.

That’s how we know they’ll be successful- being willing to do what others aren’t to truly get what you want.

This level of commitment lead to various awards & offers that senior year.

Consistency will always triumph over intensity in the long run.

This is another example of HARD WORKING PAYING OFF ✌🏽

TSA OG’s: WHERE ARE THEY NOW

Here’s some of our strong female Addys story.
Helping youth athletes at the developmental ages- will translate to determined, strong willed Adults.

“ I swam for 2 years competitively at the Coast Guard Academy. I was starting to get burned out after my freshman year of swimming and took up triathlon in the fall of 2016, sophomore year. I loved it and even though I swam through another season, i cukdnt wait to get serious. Then, I tore my ACL, LCL and meniscus after my second triathlon season as a junior, so serious training stopped.

I recovered this past year and I competed in 4 triathlons this past fall and will be going to nationals in Arizona in April.

Because of the discipline in listening to my heart and trying something new, I was able to make a difference on the team these past 3 years, a discipline learned from TSA. I also was company commander for this past fall semester and that required patient of results and mastering my part in the process, two more things tsa trusted me.

I am definitely a better and stronger-willed person than I ever thought I could be, all thanks to you, your coaching, and your full support of our endeavors. I can better serve my people when things are tough and be their leader through hard times.
I am so thank for you, Lou. Thank you”

Giving credit for when’s credit is due.

Vinny has trained with TSA initially 2yrs age- accomplishing the 1st layer of his goals. Simply let’s just get Healthy. With that we need to address the things that “in the way”- what’s holding you where your currently at? Lack of consistent movement, lack of understanding sound nutrition concepts, etc.

We as coaches find “what’s in the way” then simply help the person move around it.

Simply doing that- leads them to progress. That was Vinny’s 1st milestone- he’s done that and then some ❤️.

As people advance along their journey- goals change- they obtained what they wanted- now let’s chase what we really want.

Now getting ready for a big race come this June- he’s on track to accomplish this.

Happy to have helped him to where he currently is- looking forward to aiding Vin destroy this race come June.

Proud of our guy Vinny Oppedisano ❤️❤️✌🏽✌🏽

Athlete sessions going down at TSA- Starting off with some core work & mobility for the hips.

The general scope of work for today is them showing proficiency & ex*****on with heavier loads- on the menu today Back Squats and other lower body dominant movements.

Truth is all athletes need to move well 1st, then increase horsepower within given movements.

The thought process that’s there’s SPORT SPECIFIC MOVEMENTS for youth athletes (below high level college/pro) is bogus thinking. They need big general concepts- just like we need basic education in our school system. Anyone who’s telling you different doesn’t really Long Term Athletic Development, that well.

Parents who want their kids ahead of the curve- plus learn skills that will directly translate to life - should give TSA an honest look.

TSA OG’s: WHERE ARE THEY NOW

Tony started with us in 10 grade, knowing he would pitching at the next level in college.

1st moving on to Wake Forest, then Marist where he’s finishing strong in his collegiate/academic career.

There comes a point in every athletes journey that they literally possess high level skills for their given sport- but what’s holding them BACK IS THEIR BODIES.

Think on how some 16/17 yr olds are grown men/woman at that age. The blessing of the size and years of engraining high level skill for their sport pushes them past the competition.

So what’s a High level skill (Skill Development)
possibly UNTAPPED physical development athlete to do? Seek out professional help & hire a team that fully understands that issue.

How much force you produce or resist against literally translates to harder throws, running faster, hitting with more POWER for baseball.

If your a serious baseball stud going to play at the next level- you’d better get pretty acclimated and acquainted with the weight room.

Every college & pro level sport, incorporates strength & conditioning programs as part of their programs.

We get athletes ready before they head off to college so they can impress coaches even more upon showing up that 1st season.

Photos from Triumph Strength & Athletics's post 01/31/2019

What you see here is the byproduct of a true DECISION Stephanie made for herself.

Decided to truly commit to herself.

Decided to hire a professional training service to coach her along the way.

Decided to not listen to her own bs stories she was telling herself.

Decided that when things became “inconvenient” she’ll stay true to her commitment and get the job done.

Decided to ask great questions along the way & take ownership of her process.

Decided when Motivation was fading what she really needed was more DISCIPLINE to carry out what she said she was going to do.

Decided to bring awareness along the way to her nutrition and change things she needed to get her goals met.

It all starts with the DECISION TO MOVE FORWARD - when you take that step you leave behind your old habits/mindset that kept you back in that spot you’ve been standing on forever.

Proud of her for that DECIDING TO STAY TRUE TO HER TRUE SELF.
