EGA is organizing a school supply drive to help ensure that every student has the materials they need for a successful academic year. We are collecting items such as notebooks, pencils, pens, backpacks, and other essential supplies. The drive will run from July 7th to August 4th.Your contributions can make a big difference in the lives of students in our community!

Come join us at our annual Picnic at the park! July 28th at Memorial Park in Beacon!

We would like to congratulate on her High School Graduation!

‘Bear’ aka ‘Barry Sanders’ aka Gabs has been our longest tenured Kids student at EGA with over a decade on the mats.

It’s been a treasure watching her go from an adorable little 6 yr old, to growing into a strong, hardworking, talented, young lady to a role model who helps teach the next generation in our youth programs.

Congrats! We’re proud of you kid!

🚨New CLASS Starting Today ‼️

Hey Folks, I’m happy to announce the start of our Wrestle-Jitsu class.

It will be No Gi, every Monday night at 7:30.

This class will be a hybrid of Wrestling and Jiu Jitsu.

You’ll learn:
Takedown Systems
Offense and Defense
Wrestling Up
Using BJJ to negate takedowns
Takedowns to Subs
And much more!

We will be hosting our women’s open mat on July 27th at 1:30pm-3:30pm. Come put some work in ladies!

On Monday, June 17th at 6:30pm, we are excited to host decorated BJJ Black belt Lori Balli, aka Jellyfish Jiu Jitsu, for a Gi seminar in Beacon! This seminar is free for EGA students and will be a fantastic evening of learning from this current competitor!

Last few weeks of being here at EGA as he gets ready to graduate from the prestigious West Point Military Academy.

I’m going to miss the hell out of this kid.

Wylde brings so much with him to the mats, his skill, energy, dance music and hilarious nature.

One of the hardest parts of being a BJJ Coach is the relationships that you build with people and knowing that one day might it be the last time you see them.

It’s bitter sweet, because I’m happy to see him graduate but sad to see him leave.

I carry the same sentiment that I once heard one of his officers say: ‘Wylde restores my faith in the future generations.’

Wylde will let me know when ‘the vibes is off!’ And we need to put on better music 😂😂

I’m grateful I crossed paths with this kid.
