Congrats Summer Series Runners—

The Neches Labor Day Challenge we will put 3 Watermelons on the course. First 3 to grab them and bring them to the finish will get an extra special prize. Go to our website for more details.
We had 18 People do the challenge with a variety of sizes. We donated all watermelons to a good cause. We will miss joining Sea Rim Striders every week and seeing everyone during the runs. We had a great time meeting y'all and hope to see everyone back at our upcoming runs the Neches Labor Day 5k September 2nd and the The Big Pumpkin Run October 5th.
As a little special surprise I made a little watermelon race results. Results may not be 100 percent accurate but I tried.

After your loop, drop it off at the 3 BROS table - all watermelons will be donated to The Some Other Place Non Profit in Beaumont for the homeless community.

Our Story
The goal of the Sea Rim Striders Run Club is to promote Fitness and to give back to our Community.
Everything we do is Free and open to the Public except the Turkey Trot Event on Thanksgiving Morning, and the Jingle Bell event in December. These our Fundraisers for the year to keep the club going, so we can continue to do what we do.
We've made several changes for the Turkey Trot the last couple years! Please consider coming and supporting your local Running club! Bring the kiddos too! We have a Kids 1K and shirts for 3T - Adult size 5X, guaranteed for early registrants who sign up by November 1st. Special needs participants of any age are welcomed to participate in the Kids K.
All Participants receive a medal.
We hope you can come join the Fun!
