My daddy bear used to manage a shop so I would just go hang out and work on my cars there. I learned so much from a few of the guys there and just kept going. When I told my dad one day that I wanted to pursue a career doing hair, he was shocked.

I went to hair school and graduated in 2010.
I have been doing hair since and I wouldn't change a thing!
I would still work on a car to this day though👌🏼

👉🏻 make sure you use that heat protection when styling.
👉🏻 purple shampoo every few washes ( not every wash)

This is a huge and amazing shift for our little family.

You will usually catch me at a car meet or just spending time at home with my two loves❣️

How often do I need to come in for my blonde? 🤔
I am asked this question so often!!

Ok so if you’re an all-over blonde, I recommend 5-8 weeks. On average I would say 6 weeks. Not any longer than 8 weeks 😳
Too soon can cause overlapping (which leads to breakage) but too late can cause banding ( unless it’s all done in foils )
Doing all of that work takes more time and more 💸💸💸

Balayage babes..... it depends. I have guests I see every 4 months and some once a year! It all depends on how light you go against your natural or the way we do it. Some like it boldly! And that requires more frequent visits. I usually suggest every 3-4 months.

Highlights... honestly this is optional! You can come in every 6 weeks or a few times a year! Just remember, it’s more time to foil more and costs more. The longer you go, the more root you have, more foils have to be added!

Do you want to know how to create those messy beach waves?

Here we go ✨

If you blow-dry your hair, make sure you use heat protection. If you have frizzy hair you can use a smoothing balm. Make sure you dry it 💯
If you let your hair air dry, just make sure it’s dry.

Spray the entire hair with heat protection and brush it out.
You can always section your hair if you want. I do mine as if I were putting my hair in pigtails.
You can use a curling iron or flat iron. I never go over a 1 1/2 size barrel. I take medium-size sections. Start from the top of each section and curl down. Do not wrap your ends first. You wanna leave the ends out straight so it’s messy looking.
Note: if you curl each piece in a different direction you will have more texture and movement. If you curl every piece in the same direction, your curls may bunch together making one huge curl!
Once curled, set with hairspray. I love a medium hold ! Let them fully cool before combing out. You can use your fingers or a wide-tooth comb.
Finally... set with a texture spray!
Get your hands in there and mess that hair up girl!
I promise .... it’ll look amazing!

Did you know? 🤔

Dry shampoo is meant to be used sparingly.
It’s main purpose is to tackle the oils.
Focus on your part line and hair line!

🌟Tips : spray in small bursts and not one huge spray. Too much can cause it to feel even more dirty!
Take a microfiber towel and rub a little bit out of the hair and move the hair around ( you can brush if you want also! )

🌟Benefits: if you’re a blonde and have some regrowth, it helps hide that regrowth! If you have darker hair, and you get a white cast, simply use a microfiber towel and rub out a bit more .
Dry shampoo can also add texture! Spray in hair and use fingers to rub it in and create the volume you’re after! This also creates more of a matte look! So if you want shiny this may not be for you! A texture spray would come into play if you want some shine !

We will discuss your hair goals, budget, and lifestyle. So it is important to talk before selecting a color service. We also need to be on the same page as far as what your hair goals are and what can be done 🤗

Or are you looking for a more lived-in color?

You wouldn’t want a high maintenance blonde color and only have your hair done every 4 months.

So consultations are pretty important.
Even if you’re not a new guest, we still consult whenever you’re ready for a change ✨

Caring for your blonde at home is very important.

Do NOT wash every day!!! I can’t stress this enough. Dry shampoo FTW 💪🏼
Use low heat when using a curling iron or flat iron ( or any hot tool you use to style ... even the blow dryer )
Always use heat protection!! I recommend using one for blow-drying and then using one before heat styling once you’re hair is dry. Now if you don’t use a blow dryer just use heat protection when your hair is dry before styling.
By following these few tips, your hair will thank you ☺️
