You guys! My business is almost an adult!!!

Did I ever think I was going to be a business owner. No! My younger self would have run the other way.

I like to say I raised my business & my boys together. Which, I did. My oldest wasn't even 2 years old when I started.

I always like to reflect back on what I have learned so far for other business owners. Share a nugget with the hope of inspiring someone.

I have learned so much, such as I have so much more to learn!

Here is what comes to mind for me to share this year.

Push yourself out of your comfort zone & take risks often. Yes, that nagging feeling that won't go away. Act on it. Does it make your heart race? That's when it's right. Unsure how to? Write down those road blocks and then take steps to get past them focusing on your vision, passion, & dream!

As a business owner, putting myself out there in the scary is where the magic happens! Have I failed? More times then, I can count. Have I learned? Heck ya!

If I didn't push myself out of my comfort zone, I wouldn't have a business, a business partner, or the team I have. If I hadn't listened to the nagging, I wouldn't be running my 2nd business that are my people & my support. I wouldn't have the podcasts I have done, the 6 weeks of vacation a year I am now taking because I learned to let go. That was scary!

If I can do this, so can you! Surround yourself with others who listen to you, push you, and believe in you.

Being a business owner is HARD. Some days, I want to quit. But, every day, I get up & show up. Not for me, but for clients, my team, and my people. That makes all the "hard" worth it.

Cheers to 17 years! One more year before my business will become an adult. 😄

Best thing I ever did!!! I didn't realize how amazing and light this would feel going into my busy time of year.
