Heat advisories have been issued across Oregon this weekend, with temperatures expected to range from 90 to 100 degrees.
Extreme heat can seriously affect the health of infants, children and older adults, as well as those who live or work outdoors, have low incomes, or have a chronic medical condition.
Check in regularly with family, friends and neighbors who are vulnerable to heat, especially if they live alone, older or don't have AC.
To find a cooling center near you, call 2-1-1 or visit 211info.org and search for "extreme heat cooling centers" to find a cooling center near you.

¡A disfrutar!

Barranco - Perú
Culture, Tradition, Tourism
The district is considered to be the city's most romantic and bohemian, being the home and working place of many of Peru's leading artists, musicians, designers and photographers. In the 19th century, it was a very fashionable beach resort for the Limeño aristocracy, and many people used to spend the summer here and in neighboring Chorrillos. Today, Barranco's beaches are among the most popular within the worldwide surfing community, and a marina completed in 2008 provides state-of-the-art services for its yacht club.

Vamos PERÚ !!!
is one of the most traditional dishes of Peru, a reflection of its great culinary richness. In different regions of the country, you can find different exquisite and amazing recipes, which stand out for their local ingredients. It is due to these techniques and knowledge, the efforts of artisanal fishermen, farmers, chefs and cooks that, in 2023, the Cebiche culture in Peru was included in the representative list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. 🍋🧅🌶️🐟
Today, as National Cebiche Day is celebrated, which of these recipes would you like to try?
🇵🇪 How did ceviche originate? Historians agree that everything started from the Mochica culture, they had a ceviche preparation based on the juice of a local fruit called tumbo. It was upon the arrival of the Spaniards that lemon and onion began to be added.
👉 In addition, the origin of the word ceviche, also written as cebiche, seviche or sebiche derives from "cebo", a term used to refer to small snacks in the 16th century. 🤗
