Fall is in the air, and while it may be pumpkin spice for the rest of us, it's molt season for our feathered friends! 🍁🐓
🐣 Did you know that chickens go through a natural process called molting during the autumn months? It's a fascinating and important part of their yearly cycle. Molting is when chickens shed their old feathers and grow new ones. It's like a fresh start for them, just in time for the cooler weather.
🐓But never fear! Ronnie’s feathers will grow back brighter and more vibrant and help keep him warm this winter.

🌿🐴 Exciting news! The horses-Suzie, Kayne & Hiolair, their best cow-friend, Chanel, and Bessie, the mini-donkey, have moved to their new green pasture at the top of the trail, just to the right of the (other) cows 🐄. We’re giving their usual pasture a well-deserved break from grazing, and the new spot is perfect for them to enjoy some fresh greens! 🌱

Take a beautiful walk up the trail to come say hello and see them in their new space. It’s the perfect way to soak in the fresh air and visit your favorite farm friends! 🚶‍♀️🍃

They are a NH based Reggae/Rock band drawing influence from a wide range of artists including Sublime, Bob Marley, The Elovaters, The Movement, and Dirty Heads. The concert helps us raise funds to support our amazing farm.

Stop by the farm stand for one of Patty's fresh and delicious breads! We have pumpkin spice, regular sourdough and a jalapeño cheddar. She dropped these off today and will have more this weekend. The farm stand is open 9-5 M-F and 10-4 Sat & Sun.

We're sad to say that music with Miss Alli is canceled this morning, Thursday, September 12 due to sickness!

Join me and Sarah Comer of Empress Alchemy Healing for a special sound bath and guided meditation to celebrate the full moon lunar eclipse on Tuesday, September 17th, from 6:30-8 pm at The Educational Farm at Joppa Hill in Bedford, NH!

This event will be outside under the full moon on the farm. Expect to learn a bit about the energy and astrology of this celestial event and then be guided through a meditation designed to help you align with this powerful energy. Singing bowls will facilitate your inner journey, and Reiki energy healing will also be a part of this event.
