Hey there guys, gals, and non-binary pals! Tomorrow at The Avenue is another My Sunday Market! Come on by and check out the great stuff. I've made a bunch of new pieces, but the only way to check them out is to head to The Avenue and see them in person!

I'm sure you find my mysteriousness extremely intriguing.

I didn't want to seem like one of those companies that makes a big pride post to "cash in" on the this time of year. So I'd like to share a little poem with you now.

‘Twas the last night of pride month, and all through the town
The parades were all over, the flags coming down.
The costumes were hung in the closet with care,
The drag queens had removed their rainbow-colored hair.
And as this month nears its last hours
A thought comes to me that has great power.
So I say to you bi folks, le****ns, g**s, trans kids, and qu**rs
Pride is not just a month, you should feel it all through the year.

I've never been one for "stirring the pot", but I've kept my mouth shut for too long.

I enjoy making things, but recently I've wanted my art to "do" something. Seeing the way members of the LGBTQ community, MY community, get treated - either directly or through social pressure - has made me scared and angry. The worst is how the youth in the community get their voices taken away. Su***de rates are higher among LGBTQ people. The percentage of murder victims is higher. It's horrible.

Anyway, I'm putting the message into the world now with a little bit of my art in sticker form. This isn't an ad, so there's no link. This is just me trying to be braver than I have been, to try to help the kids who shouldn't have to "be brave."

We are extremely excited to announce that Makers of Maryland will re-open this year for a Winter Pop Up Shop! Their official opening date is this Saturday, 11/18 and their space has moved to be in between Men’s Warehouse and The Local! The shop will be open through December 24th so make sure you stop by soon and check out all the great things they have from local artists and vendors.

Additionally, don’t miss Small Shop Saturday at THE AVENUE! On Saturday, 11/25 Makers of Maryland is hosting a Small Shop Saturday Market with over 130 vendors! This event will run from 11am to 4pm!
