Deer Tracked and found in 30 minutes in thick brush with a thermal drone in Harford County Maryland
Don't let anyone tell you that deer cannot be found with the drone in dense foliage. When others put their drone away for the season after last year's hunting season ended we kept flying year-round practicing and sharpening our skills almost daily finding forest animals and lost pets in thick foliage. We found this hunters deer in about 30 minutes tonight in Harford County Maryland.

The day before my signal disappeared on the very first pass on this 75 acre field. When I looked at the environmental stats I saw that the KP index was way too high and that's why I probably lost my signal so easily. Came back today and knocked it out of the park in a few hours

It was an unforgiving week with that heat. Brutal all week except one afternoon reprieve by courtesy of the rain. Headed to Pa tomorrow for more.

After two weeks on the run Koto was finally tracked down and rescued back into her Lost Pet Parent's arms. This video is also a very good example of Calming Signals in Action. Carmen Butler came out previously with her tracking dog and another drone pilot Crissi came out at some point with carmen to see if they could zero in on Koto's location which ended up not being far off from where their tracks indicated. At the end of the day it was a community rescue; between the neighbors tips from their awareness of Koto's case, to good trackers and trappers, and to a drone giving real time updates of her location this really took every tool available to bring her home.
