Great news for law-abiding firearm owners in Maryland - more to come but big parts of SB 1 - which dramatically limited wear and carry permit holders rights have been halted from taking affect by the courts. It was to take affect Sunday, October 1st. Of course, it never should have to come to this - the state of Maryland should be supporting and encouraging our law-abiding citizens and instead punishing the criminals who use guns illegally and hurt people with them. However - this is a positive step.

Statement from Maryland Senate Republicans leadership (Senator Steve Hershey & I) on SB 1 ruling by the courts. Great job by Maryland Shall Issue and other pro-Constitutional Rights groups and citizens.
