We’re working a few hours this evening at the home that will be going on the market soon to keep chipping away at it before we get here full time. We previously stripped the wallpaper in the foyer, stairway and dining room to have those areas ready for paint.
We have one side of this house prepped, primed and ready for finish coats of paint. The other side is almost ready. Once we have those sides painted we will move up to the dormer siding and trim
This is one of the next jobs on the list. We’re refinishing the upper trim and siding on the home. Some of the siding needs scraped, sanded and primed before we can paint it. The homeowner finished the lower areas that he could reach earlier in the year.
Two coats of paint on the shutters and porch trim of this home has made a big difference in the curb appeal of this home. The black on the shutters give the house a timeless look.
This is our rainy Saturday project. We’re Stripping the wallpaper in this dining room to get it ready for paint. We will eventually be painting the entire house before it goes on the market.
We sure can make a mess out of a house when we work on it!! The living room and kitchen area of this are one open area with a vaulted ceiling so there’s not much space left to move things around. We can’t wait to see the new main color finished along with the accent color.
We have the painting finished in the stairways and hallways of this home. We’re moving into the kitchen, living room and pantry which will be the final phase of the job.
We have the best customers!! It was a nice start to the day to receive this thank you card along with a payment. We have the previous yellow color in the stairway, foyer and hallways of this home covered up with the new color which is a neutral tan. We still have the trim and doors to do on this area before we move into the kitchen and living room area. We previously painted the office and dining room before our vacation.
We’re back from vacation and we have the basement job finished. The ceilings, walls and trim all got two coats of quality paint to cover the builders grade white paint job. The area has a much more cozy feel to it now. The other pictures are of the main area of the first floor that we painted earlier in the year. It’s nice when we’re able to see rooms that we’ve worked in before all put together.
What a difference the new colors on the rec room have made! The brighter white on the ceiling really opens up the space while the wall color gives it a nice warm feel. We will be back after a quick vacation to finish the trim and the bulkheads.
Removing the wallpaper is part of the early stages of the work in this home which will be going on the market early this fall. It’s actually our next door neighbors house if anyone who is looking for a great house with a two car garage and a pool in a great neighborhood. We will be painting the entire house along with power washing the exterior before it gets listed. It will also be getting new carpet throughout
This basement is one of the next jobs that we going. The ceiling, walls and trim are getting primed and painted to add some color and get rid of the builders grade paint job.
The makeover on the exterior of the clubhouse, pavilion and cart barn at the golf club is complete. It has made a big difference in the curb appeal of the club especially as you drive in the entrance lane. The siding, doors and frames were all primed and painted with the new colors. We also did the poles in the parking lot and around the cart barn with a safety yellow so they stand out.
We’re going to put on a long day working on the finish coat on this side of the cart barn at the golf club. It gets direct sunlight with no shade from early in the morning until now so we’re taking advantage of that and the cooler temperatures to work on it.
We got an early start this morning to take advantage of the dry weather and stay on schedule with the exterior work. Almost all of the siding is primed and ready for the finish coat.
It’s out with the old and in with the new in this office and dining room. The new office color has really opened that room up with a much warmer feel to it. We have worked in these two rooms during the wet weather and now we’re starting the prep work in the hallways and stairway. That way we don’t have more of the house disrupted when the weather clears and we go back to the exterior job at the golf club.
With the storms that popped up this afternoon we headed to an inside job to get the prep work started on this home office. We have a few other rooms to do on this home but until we finish the exterior job will work room by room here. That way we don’t disrupt too many areas while we’re going back and forth between jobs.
We’re making our way around with getting the first coat of the new color on the club house and the surrounding buildings. It will really change the curb appeal of the entire complex once it’s finished.
It’s been a warm one today but we did manage to make some progress on the siding at the golf course
This phase of the office job is finished. We installed the raised panel awhile back and had it ready for the final coat to be applied. . We’ve been in and out of here the past few days to finish the dual office, accent wall and hallway. and install the coat hooks on one side to make it functional.
The wooden siding on the buildings at the golf club is one of our next jobs we have going. To get it started we will be painting one of the ends of the pavilion siding to get a visual and a confirmation on the new color choice.
It’s been a hot one from start to finish but the deck job is finished. It got power washed, sanded and got two coats of stain to get it looking like new.
We started today at sunrise to take advantage of the perfect, dry weather to start staining this deck. We finished the sanding yesterday and got a head start on the staining the railings. We now have the upper railings finished and will start staining the floor.
We’re back at the deck job where we power washed last week to get the sanding started. Once we have all of the surfaces sanded and cleaned we can start staining it.
The final phase of this job is finished. All three of the bathrooms got new colors and a bright white on the ceiling and trim. We also painted to front door to give the front entrance a fresh new look.
Our work in the kids bedrooms is finished! The new colors have a much softer look and feel to them. We have a shared bathroom left to do and then this job is complete.
We have another suite ready for the new tenants. The white walls give this one a very open feel and makes it see a little bigger then it actually is.
This suite is today’s project. We have a fair amount of patching and texturing to do to get the walls ready for paint. Once those areas dry we can get them primed and start getting the new color on the walls
The final phase of this job is underway. The kids bedrooms are ready for their new colors. The ceilings and trim are getting a fresh coat of paint and the walls will be getting two coats of paint.
This deck is power washed and ready to be sanded and stained. While we were here we also washed the concrete pad by the basement doors.
